Soulja Boy Calls His Mom A ‘Crackhead’ And Calls Out Brother After Diss Song
Rapper Soulja Boy has slammed his mother as a “crackhead” after falling out over a diss track recorded by his own brother.
The “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” hitmaker, real name De- Andre Way, found himself under attack by his sibling John Way, who blasted the 26-year-old in a lyrical attack last week.
John took the sibling fight
one step further by posting a video clip of himself and his mom on social media, in which he asks Lisa where they are, to which she responds, “In the middle of the God d**n hood.”
Now Soulja Boy has fired back at his relatives in a series of angry Twitter posts, claiming they are the liars who have been taking advantage of his generosity for years.
Lil Uzi Vert Gets First Solo Platinum Certification
Lil Uzi Vert is more than “that guy on ‘Bad and Boujee'” and he’s proven that with his first solo platinum plaque. The Philly rapper was awarded the certification by the RIAA for his Metro Boomin-produced single “You Was Right” surpassing 1 million units in sales earlier this month.
Bad and Boujee,” the hit song with Migos, was given plat- inum recognition in January and Uzi’s first plaque was a gold nod for “Money Longer.”

Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane was on hand to help Pandora kick off their flagship event over the weekend.
Gucci took over the stage at The Gatsby during the “Pandora @SXSW Interactive” event on Saturday (March 11).
The rapper ran through a number of hits from his deep catalog during his appearance at Pandora’s event, which also served as a platform to launch the company’s new “Pandora Premium” service.
The new $9.99 service com- bines new playlist features, new personalized radio options, and the ability to play any track or album.
The family and friends of Notorious B.I.G. were present at the Barclay Center on last Sunday when the Brooklyn Nets honored him.
March 9 marked 20 years since Hip Hop lost one of its shining lights, a tragedy that was remembered on Sunday (March 12) by the Brooklyn Nets, who retired The Notori- ous B.I.G.’s symbolic number in his honor during the team’s “Biggie Night.”
Diddy, Lil Kim, Faith Evans, Ice Cube, Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace, his son and daughter and several other members of his family were all present at Barclays Center to see the Nets pay trib- ute to Biggie by putting his number, #72, the year of his birth, out of commission.
Voletta Wallace thanked the crowd and the franchise for
inviting her, telling the crowd it was her “very, very first profes- sional basketball game.”
“From the bottom of my heart, I have to remember what my son said in the past: ‘Brook- lyn, we did it.'”
A giant banner was unfurled revealing a Nets jersey with 72 on the back, alongside a cap- tion that featured one of Big- gie’s best-known quotes from his hit “Juicy” — “Spread love, it’s the Brooklyn way.”
The number of the jersey is also the one he wore in 1994’s “Juicy” video.
According to reports on Twit- ter, the banner will become a permanent fixture of the Bar- clays Center when the Nets play.
