Grizzlies Star Guard Ja Morant
Buys His Parents A Home, Makes
Them His New Neighbors
Buying a home for parents is a life goal for many, but Ja Morant took it a step further. The All-Star Memphis Grizzlies point guard bought his parents a home - and made them his neighbors.
Morant posted a video on In- stagram where he walked outside his home and yelled down the street, where his father, Tee Morant, was standing outside his new home.
"Aye Pops, we neighbors now!" Ja Morant yelled in the video.
"Go back to your house! Go back to your house. I don't need you over here," his father jokingly responded.
Morant posted on Twitter that his parents and his younger sister are his neighbors. He has stated many times throughout his three- year career how important his parents and sister have been in his life.
During International Women's Day in March, Morant took time in his postgame news conference to honor his mother, sister and daughter.

This is the latest showing of ap- preciation from Morant to those in his inner circle. On July 1, a day after it was reported that Morant agreed to a record-breaking con- tract extension to stay with the Grizzlies, he tweeted, "roleys for da whole gang," giving the indica- tion he was buying Rolex watches for his close friends.
