Lee Daniels Launches Music Label, Partners With Warner
Diddy and Jermaine Dupri will face off in an event similar to Verzuz but will not be under the Swizz Beatz and Timbaland-produced musi- cal clash webcast, according to an Instagram Live session posted by Puff.
During the IG Live session, the Bad Boy Records founder invited Dupri into the session and said “JD, if you want that smoke, you can get that smoke anytime.”
The So So Def Records cre- ator, who sat alongside his production partner Bryan- Michael Cox, told Diddy to relax prior to agreeing to set up an event in Atlanta. Rather than battling, however, Dupri

“Since we ain’t f*****g with Verzuz no more since ’cause they f*****g around with our boys, we don’t need to be going

Looks like Lil Wayne has another case to worry about. According to an exclusive re- port by @radaronline, the rap- per is being sued by an ex-employee.

Williams claimed that he even placed his arms between the pilot and Wayne to sepa- rate the two. However, while trying to do that, he claims the rapper turned to him and socked him right in the jaw. “The combination of a closed fist and the numerous rings and large jewelry on the hands of [Wayne] caused great harm to [Williams],” the doc states.
Jay-Z Awarded $7M Royalties In Perfume Lawsuit
Music icon JAY-Z was awarded nearly $7 million in royalties by a Manhattan judge for his 2013 fragrance Gold by Jay Z.
New York Supreme Court
Justice Andrew Borrok ruled that Jay-Z would be paid $6.78 million with inter- est in unpaid royalties by per- fume company Parlux.
“We’ve been awarded and will be receiving the money as we should,” Hov’s lawyer Alex Spiro told reporters fol-
lowing the ruling.
The Brooklyn mogul and
Parlux cut a deal in 2012 and they released their Gold by Jay Z fragrance a year later.
Parlux then sued Hov in 2016 after the cologne tanked and blamed Jay for not pro- moting the fragrance line properly. They alleged that Hov failed to show up for the Macy’s 2014 Jay-Z Gold launch and also skipped out on promo spots for Good Morn-
JAY-Z ing America.
