Crime Star Rapper Arrested At Airport
Reward Offered In Murder Of Teenager
On Gun Charge
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward in the murder of an 18-year-old Tampa teenager. The murder took place on September 3rd.
According to police, TeSean Blue was riding his bicycle southbound on Banyan Avenue from 13th Street, around 8:35 p.m., when an unidentified gun- man shot Blue. After being shot, Blue fell off of his bicy- cle in the 9400 block of N. Brooks Street.

A popular rapper was ar- rested Wednesday on a gun charge. The arrest took place at the Tampa International Airport.
According to police, 42- year-old Algernod “Plies” Lanier Washington, of Wesley Chapel, was going through security when a secu- rity agent observed what ap- peared to be a firearm inside his bag. The gun was discov- ered as the carry on bag trav- eled through the x-ray machine.
Upon searching the bag, authorities found a Glock 9 mm semi automatic hand- gun. Washington was taken into custody and charged with carrying a concealed firearm, which is a felony.
Washington did not have a concealed weapon per- mit.
He was released from the Hillsborough County Jail after posting a $2,000 bond.

A native of Fort Myers, Washington was a wide re- ceiver on the University of Miami football team for two years. He dropped out of col- lege to become a rapper. He founded Big Gates Records with his stepbrother.
Washington made his debut in 2007 with “The Real Testament,” which featured the singles “Shawty” and “Hypno- tized.”

The victim of an early morning shooting Tuesday remained in “extremely criti- cal” condition at press time Thursday. The shooting took place at the Silver Oaks Apartment Complex Tues- day, shortly before 2:30 a.m.
According to the Tampa Police Department, police re- sponded to an emergency call pertaining to a shooting. When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that the gunshot victim had been
transported by car to a nearby Tampa Fire Station and dropped off. The victim, identified as 18-year-old Aaron Michael Peralta, was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in extremely critical condi- tion.
A spokesman for the po- lice department said every- one involved has been identified. No arrests have been made. However, the in- vestigation is continuing.
Dies Of Injuries
Police arrested a 52-year- old man wanted in connection with a stabbing. He is cur- rently being held on a $118,000 bond at the Hills- borough County Jail. There is also a hold on him for the Or- ange County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest of Bobby Lee Story came about after police received a call about a man sleeping inside an abandoned home. When police arrived at the home in the 6500 block of N. 22nd Street, officers made contact with the man, later identified as Story.
He reportedly led police on a foot chase before being taken into custody. Story was charged with stabbing a 48- year-old man at the Kain Cares Apartment Complex on September 13th. In addition to the attempted first-degree murder charge, Story is also charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, and re- sisting arrest without vio- lence.
Police said Story has an active warrant issued by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated battery. Story is also considered the primary suspect in a murder investiga- tion in Orange County as well.
Serial Robbery
The St. Petersburg Police Department is currently in- vestigating a shooting death. The victim was discovered in the 2000 block of Seminole Blvd., around 5:30 p.m., Monday.
The man, identified as 34- year-old Dio Marquell Lindsey, was pronounced deceased upon his arrival at a local hospital.
Police said the prelimi- nary investigation revealed that Lindsey was shot while in a vacant lot.

A 45-year-old Tampa man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly robbed a business. The rob- bery took place at the CVS, 2911 E. Fowler Avenue.
Rodrick Clark is a sus- pect in more than 20 rob- beries throughout the state. At the time of the robbery last Saturday, he was under surveillance by Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies. They, along with Tampa Po- lice, took him into custody.
Detectives from the Tampa Police Department, Osceola Sheriff’s Office, Temple Terrace Police De- partment, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and Ocoee Police Department conducted interviews with Clark.

the city of Tampa during the month of September. He was also charged with commit- ting a robbery by the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Office.
Clark is currently being held at the Hillsborough County Jail under a bond of $117,500. Additional charges are pending as a result of the multi-jurisdictional investi- gations.
