MRS. SHIRLEY A. HOUSLEY-FOSTER
God, in His infinite Wisdom, who does all things well and cre- ates all things to work together for the good of those who love Him, called Mrs. Shirley A. Housley- Foster home to rest on Friday, September 14, 2018.
Homegoing Service will be conducted at 11 a. m. on Saturday, September 22, at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, with Reverend Christopher Jarnegan, officiat- ing. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Shirley was born in By- romville, Georgia, and has been a resident of Tampa, FL for the past 64 years. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and retired from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay Inc., after 34-years of dedicated service. Shirley was an active member at First Baptist Church of College Hill where she was a member of New Beginning Do- mestic Violence Ministry and the Jolly Seniors.
Shirley was preceded in death by: her parents, Will and Bertha Young; and her siblings, Lena Archie, Laura Williams, and Arthur James Young, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories: her loving and devoted husband, Melvin H. Fos- ter of 20 years; her adoring chil- dren, VeeVee L. Burgess, Reginald T. Housley, Sr., Traci Housley, and Arthur James Young, Jr. and wife, Sylvia; her stepsons, Melvin H. Foster, III and LeeAndre Foster; her grand- children, Reginald T. Housley, Jr., Reginald T. Housley, III, DiMarco Burgess, Arthur J. Young, III, Jaimartez A. Young, Elise Hous- ley, and McKenzie Housley; her great-grandchildren, Reginae Housley, Re’ Nyla Housley, and Santana Housley; siblings, William Young and wife, Annette, Edith Folks, Edward Young, Bertha Gary and husband, Wal- ter, Ophelia Ball and husband, Alphonso, Jr., Albert Young and wife, Arabella, and Eunice Young; mother-in-law, Synthia Foster; sister-in-law, Vonnetta Foster and her son, Willie Spratt; godchil- dren, Trey Parker, Danielle Parker, and Kevin Miller; special niece, Edith Mosley; best friend, Laura Wilson, and special friends, Marian Green, and Britany Grant; she also leaves behind a host of loving nephews and nieces.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, September 21, from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, where the family will receive friends. Friends are asked to assemble at the Church on Sat- urday September 22, at approxi- mately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MS. LACY CURINGTON-WRIGHT
Ms. Lacy Curington-Wright of Tampa passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. A Graveside Service will be conducted Satur- day, September 22 at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue, with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiating. Interment will follow.
Ms. Lacy Curington-Wright was a native of Lake City, Florida and a resident of Tampa for many years. She was educated in the Public Schools of Hillsbor- ough County and was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1946. Ms. Wright retired after 38 years from Tampa General Hospital in the Dietary Depart- ment.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Leather and Annie Curington; husband, Johnnie Wright; brothers, Louis Curington, Purcel Curington, Alphonso Curington, Sr. and sis- ter, Geneva Curington-Nunn; niece and nephews, Delores Cur- ington, Louis Curington, Jr., Craig Curington and Johnny Nunn.
She leaves to cherish her lov- ing memory: loving and devoted nieces, Cassandra Nunn-Tucker and husband, Maurice, Sr., JoAnn Nunn-Marshall and hus- band, Curtis Marshall, Jr., who were her devoted caregivers, Sharon Lewis and husband, Oliver Lewis and Stefani Curing- ton; nephews, Alphonso Curing- ton, Jr., Gregory Currington (Brendolyn), Eugene Nunn (Ruby), and Alonzo Nunn (Towanda); five dedicated great nieces, Fredrika Curington, Fele- cia Curington, Maureen Tucker, Sonya Curington and Tamara Moore-Hardy (Steve), De’Andra Belton (Cantrell), Anika Davis (Michael), Michelle Lewis, Jes- sica Wright (Kalen) and Brittany Nunn; three great nephews, Larry Curington, Gregory Cur- rington, Jr. (Savina), Oliver Lewis, Jr., Antonio Nunn, Eu- gene Nunn, III, Travis Nunn (Brittany), Curtis Marshall “Curt-Curt,” and Maurice Tucker, Jr. (Alicia); additional relatives to include: step-sisters, Pat and Debbie Curington of Lake City, FL; sister-in-law, Del Curington; the Campbell family of Safety Harbor, FL, the Brooks family of Tampa, and the Guz- man family of Tampa; dear and devoted friends, Catherine Coley, Pearl Moore, the Franklin Family and Roosevelt Cade; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and close friends.

MS. TERRA LYNN RENIER GORDON
A Homegoing Celebration Service for Ms. Terra Lynn Renier Gordon will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 1 p. m. at Grace Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 3901 N. 37th Street, Tampa, Florida, Elder James Reed, Jr., Pastor, with Apostle Ronnie Norton, eulogist.
Terra Lynn Renier Gordon was born on April 24th, 1972 in Davenport, Iowa. Raised by her mother and grandmother, she spent her childhood in Davenport attending and finishing school at North High School. She relocated to Lakeland, Florida in 2017 and lived there until she was called home on September 11th, 2018.
Having lived in many places such as Iowa, Florida, Tennessee, Minnesota, Arizona and Illinois, Terra was able to share her beau- tiful personality with so many people and was able to extend the only thing she had all the time, love. She had a passion for cook- ing that led her to become a Pas- try Chef. She dreamed of owning her own food truck and was in the process of making that dream a reality.
Having so many talents and so much ambition, she turned her creativity into another business that she took much joy in, Baby Cakes by Terra. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her little people (grandkids) as they were her life and made it her pri- ority to attend everything they were involved in.
She was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Georgia Crutchfield; grandfathers, Ivy Re- nier and Leonard Miller; uncle, Wayne Renier and sister, Alicia Renier.
Ms. Gordon leaves to cherish her fondest memories with: 2 children, Shakira Upshaw (Rashad) of Tampa, FL, and Mikail Collier of Davenport, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, Zion Up- shaw, Elijah Upshaw, Isaiah Up- shaw, Josiah Upshaw, Jael Upshaw and Melanie Collier; mother, Joann Renier; sister, Brenden Renier; niece, Tenaya Coleman; great nephew, Tre’ceon Lartdale; aunts, Brenda Martin- Howard and Dawn Renier; un- cles, Lawrence Anderson (Florida) and Freddie Renier; cousins, James Johnson, Jr., Rickenya Sisk (Tony), Lemmecka Powell, Shalonda Mayfield, Steven Clayburne, Sr. (Lesli) and Terrace Perkins; best friends, Raslyn Craig, Jamie Walker-Sal- lis, Jessica Harrison and Sandra Rinderknecht; her beloved fur baby, Bear and a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly.

MR. O’BERRY WRIGHT
On Saturday, September 15, 2018, Mr. O’Berry Wright, lov- ing husband, father, brother, uncle and cousin, passed away at the age of 98.
O’Berry was born on Janu- ary 5, 1920, in Trenton, NC, to Caswell and Annie (Best) Wright. He attended school in Jones County, NC.
Eager and proud to serve his country, he enlisted in the United States Army during World War II, where he served in the Asian Pacific from 1943 until 1946, and was the recipi- ent of several honorable medals.
In 1947, he moved to Tampa, FL, and was employed by Amer- ican Freight System, Inc., until his retirement in 1987.
On August 24, 1971, O’Berry and Mary Lou Jackson were united in holy matrimony.
O’Berry was preceded in death by: his father, Caswell Wright; mother, Annie Best Wright; his wife, Mary Lou Wright; brothers, C. W. (MIA/Korean War), and David Wright; sisters, Susie Hargrett and Mary Wright; his son, Ronald Wright; daughters, Jackie Bagley and Gail Jackson; and dear friend, Carolyn Shield.
O’Berry leaves to cherish his memories with: his children, Linda Baker, Ray Wright, Reginia Payne (Ricky), Reginald Wright (Victoria), Rozalyn Ter- rell, Rhonda Kennedy (Roo- sevelt), Sonya Richardson, Carolyn Wright (also his de- voted caregiver), Rwanda Wyn- der (Lewis), Tanya Jerry (Archie), Maurice Jackson and Jack Bagley; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Visitation for Mr. O’Berry Wright will be on Monday, Sep- tember 24, 2018, 11 a. m.-12 p. m., followed by the Homegoing Services at 12 noon at Blount & Curry Funeral Home – Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa 33610.

MS. MARY MYERS
Ms. Mary Myers was born in Sarasota, FL on October 10, 1945. Her family moved to the Tampa area when she was very young.
She was educated in Hillsbor- ough County schools and was a graduate of Middleton High School Class of 1963. She at- tended Gibbs Junior College.
She worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Phillip Shore Elementary School for two years. She also worked for Honeywell and later began her final career with Olan Mills Studio as a Proof Consult- ant. She retired after over 30 years of service.
Mary was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for almost 30 years; she served in the Adult Choir.
On Sunday, September 16, 2018, after a long illness, the Lord called Mary home from her earthly tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. Daniel and Mrs. Ida Myers; 2 sisters, JoAnn Myers and Betty Turner; 1 brother, Joseph Myers; 1 nephew, James Smiley, Jr.; and 1 brother-in-law, George Hines.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three sisters, Janet Myers Smiley (James, Sr.), Joyce Myers Bludsaw (George), and Melinda Myers Hines; two broth- ers, Daniel W. Myers, Jr., and Anth0ny D. Myers; seven nieces, Bridgette Campbell, Janine Smi- ley Rollison (Alfonso), Delvie Myers, Cecilia Bennett-Walker (Brandyet), Danielle Myers, An- gela Bludsaw-Walker (Bob), Amelia Bludsaw Winters (Kelly, Sr.); three nephews, Randall D. Simmons, Ricky C. Turner and Jeffrey D. Smiley (Solitaire); and a host of other great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
