DEACON WILLIE ‘BROWN’ WELLS
Deacon Willie “Brown” Wells, transitioned to a new life Monday, September 4, 2018.
Viewing and Funeral Serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11 a. m. at Holy Outreach for Christ House of Prayer and Assembly, 7935 N. Armenia Avenue, Dr. A. F. Nel- son Vickers, pastor, with Bishop Rodney Crecy, eulogist.
Deacon Wells was a faithful member of Potter’s House De- liverance Tabernacle, Dr. Patri- cia A. Hauser, Pastor, until his health declined, and a former member of New Progress M. B. Church, both of Tampa. He was well known for being a spirit- filled devotional leader at vari- ous churches and gospel programs in the Tampa Bay area.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Elber B. and Mamie Humphrey Wells; son, Donald Crecy; 5 brothers, Roosevelt Wells, Willie B. Humphrey, Ollie Wells, Johnny, Jr. Wells, Willie James Wells, Sr.; 2 sis- ters, Pearlie Maxwell and Vera Allen.
He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Alvin (Tony), Carl (Terry), Evelyn (Joseph), Winifred (Bernard), Rodney (Diane) and Beverly (Charlette); grandchildren, Alvin, Jr., Maqisha (Thomas), Chantel (Michael), Shanti, Chi- quana (Hakeem), Laukisha Crecy, Trenichia (Kris), Chris- honna, Sekitha Donnell-Crecy, Quentin (Stacy), Brian, LaWanda, Latoya, Jimeka, sur- rogate and caretaker; Courtney (Andrean), Corey, Winnetta, Melanie, Terika, Travis, Carl, Terry, Garvey (Alex), Tiffany Crecy, Derielle Baity, Com- misyon Wells; Ravyn McCall, a host of great grandchildren; former wife, Sally Wells; special companion, Erlene Butler; god- daughters, Faye and Sharon; devoted nieces, Sylvia, Mary Linda; and devoted nephew, Robert; and host of aunts, un- cles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

MRS. RUBYE LEVETTE KILPATRICK
Mrs. Rubye Levette Kil- patrick, a native of Tampa, Florida, departed this life, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Rubye was born Decem- ber 2, 1944 to the late Jessie Lee and Mary Magdalene Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Melania Levette Wasielewski; father, Jessie Lee Wilson; mother, Mary Magdalene Wilson; and brother, Ernest Rogers Wilson.
Rubye Kilpatrick attended Elementary and Middle schools in Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton High School. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She served as an employee of the Tarrant County School District, in Fort Worth, Texas for eight years.
Finally, she worked for the Hillsborough County School District, initially at Bay Crest El- ementary, and as one of the in- augural teachers at Schwarzkopf Elementary. She retired after 32 years of teach- ing.
Over the years of her teach- ing profession, Rubye was hon- ored as being a nominee for ‘Teacher of the Year’ for Hills- borough County. She impacted countless children’s lives, leav- ing a legacy of excellence and love.
She was a dedicated and faithful member of Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, in Tampa, Florida. She will be fondly remembered for her strong faith in God and commitment to family. Those who knew and loved her will af- fectionately remember her illu- minating smile, grace, strength and gentle personality.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted hus- band, Burnis Kilpatrick, Jr.; her loving daughter, Mimi
Wasielewski (Andrew); her lov- ing son, Burnis (Vernon) Kil- patrick, III (Jennean); and goddaughter, Alexy Cardenas.
She also leaves to mourn her passing: her sister, Lalita Watkins (Harry); and grandchil- dren, Javian Kilpatrick, Jen- nayla Kilpatrick and Andrew Wasielewski. She was a loving and proud aunt to: Anika Coney (Ernest), Kai Jenkins (Jody), Ngina Watkins, Katrya Watkins, Nyla Styles, Shelby Coney, Kylen Passmore, Kailey Jenkins, Cason Kennedy, Kyndall and Kody Jenkins, Cameron Kennedy, Cali Kennedy, Milani Boyd; close and special friends, Jennelle and Rudy Hopf, Tonya Mack, Dale and Gloria Eber, Jennifer Kori, and Velanda Hunter. Also mourning her are: the Haywood family (especially all of her mother’s siblings), Kilpatrick family, and many other family and friends, members of the church, and countless students that she touched in so many ways.
A visitation will be held 2-4 p. m., Saturday, 9/22, with a fu- neral service to follow at 4 p. m. at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Carrollwood Chapel.

MS. ROBENIA BURNETT
Ms. Robenia Burnett of Tampa passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, September 22 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend T. L. Williams, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Robenia Burnett was a native of Cleveland, North Car- olina and a resident of Tampa for 59 years. She was educated in the public schools of Rowan County, and last attended R. A. Clement School, Cleveland, NC. After relocating to Florida she also attended the public schools of Hillsborough County.
Ms. Robenia was a member of New Bright and Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a Mother. She retired as a Physical Thera- pist and Home Care Specialist. Ms. Robenia was well known for feeding the community and helping to raise children in her community.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Reverend Vernon and Nancy Hogue; her husband, Nathaniel Burnett; children, Va- lerie Boyd and Daniel Boyd; sis- ters, Eva Mae Ivery, Myrtle Baucum, Ida Mae Sloan and Pauline Copeland; brothers, Charles Hogue, John Henry Hogue, Ray Hogue, Van Hogue, Willie Hogue, Walter Hogue and Ozzie Hogue; and sister-in-law, Lula Mae Alexander.
She leaves to cherish loving memories: her brother, James Hogue and wife, Dorothy of Lima, OH; her children, James Boyd, Vanessa Boyd and De- Wayne Boyd; devoted foster daughter, Kiwania Gray; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grand- children; 19 nieces, 28 nephews; devoted cousin, Herbert Mc- Neely and wife, Pam; god-chil- dren, Paulette Stokes, Maxine House, Josie Johnson, Dey’on- dra Hines and Greg; a host of other cousins; great nieces; and great nephews; devoted friends, Johnny, Larry, Irene and Anne; and a host of other devoted friends and neighbors.

Ms. Hazel Copeland of Plant City, Florida, passed away Tues- day, September 11, 2018. Fu- neral services will be conducted today, Friday, September 21, at 1 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Hazel Copeland was a native of Marianna, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 55 years. She was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School and fur- thered her education at Hills- borough Community College. Ms. Copeland was employed as a Laboratory Supervisor with the State of Florida Health Depart- ment.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her fiance’, Mr. Harold Falls; her three children, Mr. Ronnie Johnson and wife, Val- incia, Ms. Dycie Johnson and Mr. Benjamin Copeland; 8 grandchildren, Juan Ibarguen, Ronnie Johnson, III, Valencia Devries, Jaira Valencia, Randall “Romie” Johnson, Rennan Johnson, Chasity Bennett, and Darrius Copeland; 6 great- grandchildren, Saryiah Ibar- guen, Delihia Washington, Xylan Cole, Alex Ibarguen, Eas- ton Oldham and D’yirr Jones; brothers, Johnny Reese, David Reese, Jr., Christopher Reese and Avery Reese; sisters, Betty Reese and Dorothy Lewis; nieces, Sontrivette “DeDe” Ba- yard and Consuela “Van” Reese; nephews, Rudolph Holton, Jolay Reese and John Reese, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends - not to exclude anyone.
