Joshua Williams Becomes First HBCU Player Drafted In 2022 NFL Draft
Joshua Williams is the first HBCU player selected in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Kansas City Chiefs se- lected Williams at No. 135 overall in the fourth round.
Williams is a phenome- nal athlete and compete with big and strong wide receivers. The Fayetteville State Univer- sity (FSU) Bronco alum could be the steal of the draft. He stands 6-3 and has the ability to stay on an island or play
Eagles Rob Titans In Trade For AJ Brown
A.J. BROWN
AJ Brown is on the move, and the Philadelphia Eagles pried him loose with- out paying a huge price.
The Eagles acquired Brown from the Titans for a first-round pick (No. 18) and third-round pick (No. 101).
That’s not at all a bad price for a receiver with a pair of 1,000-yard seasons and 24 ca- reer receiving touchdowns in three years.
Why would Tennessee give up a young, talented receiver for a first and third-round pick?
Brown was among the re- ceivers who were planning to skip offseason workouts in search of a new contract. So not only do you have to give up draft picks to get Brown, but then you have to pay him big money.
That’s what the Eagles are doing: giving Brown a 4- year, $100 million deal.

Williams competed against some of the best play- ers at the Senior Bowl. He was the only Division II player to perform in this post- season all-star game. Williams has good size and length as a cornerback. The Broncos’ standout received All-Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association first- team honors had 31 total tackles and three intercep- tions.
NFL Plans To Push Brian Flores’ Lawsuit Into Arbitration
The National Football League has decided to finally strike back against the lawsuit filed by Brian Flores, which was later joined by two other Black coaches, Steve Wilks and Ray Horton.
In a “letter released Thurs- day in advance of an initial hearing before a Manhattan federal judge, the league said it will either ask that the claims of coach Brian Flo- res and two other coaches be forced into arbitration or be dismissed without a trial be- cause they lack legal merit,” Associated Press reports.
The NFL’s lawyers said, “Defendants have not dis-
