Zyon McCollum Gets 'The Call' From Bucs On Draft Day
ZYON MCCOLLUM
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Sam Houston State cornerback Zyon McCollum, after they traded up into the fifth round of the 2022 NFL draft to snag the athletic de- fender who dominated the NFL Scouting Combine.
McCollum is a perfect fit for Tampa Bay’s defense, and has the athleticism to become a shutdown corner at the next level.
Bucs Take A Punter
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers added two new tight ends this weekend in the 2022 NFL draft, but they’re still waiting to see if Rob Gronkowski is going to re- turn for another season with the team.
Speaking from his own draft festivities in Las Vegas, Gronkowski was asked
about the potential for his old friend and teammate, Julian Edelman, to return from his own retirement and sign with the Bucs.
Gronk responded, mak- ing it clear that Edelman “needs to sign with the Bucs,” and that if he did, he would indeed return for another sea- son to join him in Tampa Bay.
Bucs Select
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers are adding yet another dynamic weapon to their of- fense, spending the No. 106 pick in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft on Washing- ton tight end Cade Otton.

The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers spent the No. 133 over- all pick in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft on Geor- gia punter Jake Camarda, and sent their fans into a frenzy on social media.
While many expected the
Bucs to target a replacement

LSU Edge Andre

CADE OTTON
ANDRE ANTHONY
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have wrapped up their 2022 NFL draft class with a pass rusher, selecting LSU’s Andre Anthony in the seventh round.
Anthony had 3.5 sacks in his first three games of the 2021 season, but missed the rest of the year with a knee in- jury. Had he stayed healthy and kept up that kind of pro- duction, he likely could have been a much higher selection.
Anthony will have a chance to earn a backup job in training camp behind Shaq Barrett, Joe Tryon- Shoyinka and Anthony Nelson at outside linebacker.

No. 1 Pick Travon Walker
Ahead Of NFL Draft
Travon Walker had a bit of a scare ahead of the NFL Draft.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelis- sero reported on Thursday that Walker was involved in a car accident ahead of the draft. Rapoport said Walker crashed into two parked cars. The reporter de- scribed the incident as “seri- ous.”
Walker downplayed the matter in comments to the media after being selected with the No. 1 overall pick by

the Jacksonville Jaguars. Walker described the colli- sion as a “fender bender.” He said the incident occurred about two weeks ago.
