SISTER YOLANDA DANETTE BAHAM
Sister Yolanda Danette Baham of Tampa, went home to be with the Lord on Sun- day, May 8, 2016.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 21 at 11 a. m. at New Mount Zion Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, with Rev- erend Larry Roundtree, II, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Sister Baham was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County, and was a grad- uate of H. B. Plant Senior High School, Class in 1972.
She was employed with Travelers Insurance Com- pany for 35 years. Sister Baham was a member of New Mount Zion Missionary Bap- tist Church, where she served as a Deaconess, Choir and Usher Board member, and she was committed to teach- ing children the Word of God.
Sister Baham also coached Girl’s Softball teams for ap- proximately 10 years at the Yellow Jackets Little League Field, and served on the Board of Directors of Mt. Pleasant Middle School. Sister Baham was loved by many people throughout the community.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Johnie Lewis, Sr.; brother, Alexander Timo- thy Lewis; sister, Andrea Jeanette Brown; grandmother, Sarah Jeanette Nelson; and grandfather, Ben Stewart.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving and devoted husband, Glen Baham, Sr.; daughters, Glennette Baham of North Carolina, and Zulema Anderson and husband, James; stepson, Glen Baham, Jr.; grandsons, Glen Baham, III, and Jeremiah Anderson; granddaughters, Makiyah Westbrook, Aaliyah Ander- son, Miyah Westbrook and Rhianna Anderson; a loving mother, Louise Lewis; 5 broth- ers, Johnie Lewis, Jr. (Lav- erne), Gregory Lewis (Jolinda), Raymond Lewis, Sr., Vernon Lewis and Alex Lewis (Willette); 4 sisters, Pa- tricia Hordge (Larry), Melody Haynes, Joyce Lewis, and Zulema Godfrey of Killeen, TX; uncle, Willie James Nel- son of Hartford, CT; mother- in-law, Audrey Baham of Folsom, LA; aunt, Rosalee Laurant of Abita Springs, LA; sisters-in-law, Maybelle Baham of Tampa, Linda Belle Baham of Milwaukee, WI, Cin- derella Fields of Milwaukee, WI, and Martha Campbell of Folsom, LA; brothers-in-law, Richard Baham (Pat) of Hous- ton TX, Malcolm (Chevalle), and Neil Baham of Folsom, LA; and a host of other loving

MRS. MARGARET BRANT
Mrs. Margaret Brant of Tampa, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Satur- day,May21,2016at1p.m.at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, with Reverend Rayford Harper, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Margaret was a native of Allendale, South Carolina, where she was educated by the public schools of Allen- dale County.
She was a resident of Tampa for 70 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of West Tampa. Mrs. Brant retired as a Cook from Show Boat Dinner Theater.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Aiken Brant; daughter, Eva Mae Bamberg; and granddaugh- ter, Linda Michelle Brant Burgess.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, George H. Brant of Tampa; godson, Henry Pearson of Tampa; 9 grandchildren, Veverly Brant of Jamaica, NY, Sonia Brant of Ft. SERGEANT RALPH HENRY UNDERWOOD, SR.
Sergeant Ralph Henry Un- derwood, Sr., 65, of Tampa, transitioned to the Lord sur- rounded by his family on Sat- urday, May 14, 2016.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 11 a. m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, with Bishop Thomas Scott, officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Underwood was a na- tive of Tampa, and a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1968 (letter- man - Football and Basket- ball); Savannah State College, where he earned his Bache- lor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration, Class of 1972; and the Univer- sity of South Florida, where he earned his Master’s in Public Administration.
Mr. Underwood worked for Sears Roebuck, Tampa Housing Authority, the School District of Hillsbor- ough County, Tampa Police Department, and the Hills- borough County Sheriff De- partment, where he served as Sergeant, until he retired due to his illness.
Sergeant Underwood en- joyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, bowling, coin collect- ing, cooking and reading. He was always there to help any- one whenever they needed him.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Henry Under- wood; and siblings, Mable Jones, Johnny Underwood and Barbara Gainous.
Ralph was a loving hus- band, father, brother, grand- father, great grandfather, uncle and friend to all.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Regina Jackson Underwood; child- ren, Tracie (Jerome) Lowe, Ralph (LeQuisha) Under- wood, II, Bernard “BK” Jack- son, II and Jasmine Jenee’ Jackson; mother, Daisy Un- derwood; brother, Cornell Underwood, Sr.; sister, Bev- erly Fennell; grandchildren, Jessica, Jerome, Jr., Alisha, Jasmine, Aussie, Anise, Alina Lowe, Gavin and Kyla Under- wood; sister-in-law, Ruby Un- derwood; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Barbara Lillian Frederick Smith, will be held at 2 p. m., Saturday, May 21, 2016, at In- ternational Harvest Church of God, 5512 N. 47th St., with Bishop Eddie L. Solomon, Sr., Pastor of Faith Temple Church of God, officiating. In- terment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
“Bobbi Lillian,” as she was affectionately known, was a native of Byromville, GA, and a resident of Tampa from a young age, where she was ed- ucated and received her nurs- ing degree.
She was a member of Faith Temple COG, and worked at various facilities, including Tampa General and the VA Hospital up until her retire- ment.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Sump and Plushia Frederick, and Henry Tutt; children, Anthony and Paulette Frederick and Kathy Duncan; sisters, Bertha Ellis Wiggins and Willie Mae Batts; and nieces, Ava and Minnie Ellis.

MRS. JANNIE R. WALKER
Mrs. Jannie R. Walker of Tampa, passed away Satur- day, May 14, 2016.
A wake service was held Thursday, May 19, 2016, at 5 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, Tampa.
Mrs. Walker will have her homegoing celebration on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at 2 p. m. at Heavenly Heights Church, 180 S. Oak Street, Lakeland, Georgia, 31635. In- terment will follow in Lovejoy Cemetery, Lakeland, Georgia.
Mrs. Walker was a native of Homerville, Georgia, and a resident of Tampa for over 50 years. She was a graduate of Middleton High School, and was a former member of Vic- tory Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as President of Gen- eral Missions, and was a cur- rent member of Greater Bethany M. B. Church, where she served as a Missionary.
Mrs. Walker was employed by General Telephone Com- pany (now Verizon) and re- tired in 1996, and was also employed as a telephone op- erator for Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel. She also enjoyed working as a Substitute Teacher for the Head Start Program.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. Colonel Sirmons and Beatrice Sir- mons; and siblings, Arthur Sirmons and Essie Mae Curtis.
