MR. MURPHY R. SNELLS, JR., a.k.a., MR. EMONIE R. STORM
Mr. Murphy R. Snells, Jr., a.k.a., Mr. Emonie R. Storm of Tampa, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Tampa General Hospital.
Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 12 noon at Hope of Shiloh Community Church, 3910 E. Conover St., with Elder Cornelius Moore, In- terim Senior Pastor, eulo- gist, and Elder Eugene Johnson, officiator. Inter- ment will be held immedi- ately after the service at Orange Hill Cemetery.
A native of Tampa, Mur- phy accepted the Lord at a young age, growing up in New Mt. Zion M. B. Church. He was a member of the Youth Group with Universal Masonic Brotherhood, Inc.
Murphy was very talented, had a way with words, ex- celled in swimming and Mar- tial Arts 3rd degree black belt, who competed in local, state, national and winning cham- pionships in every division. Later, he became an instruc-
tor. He was an outstanding employee of Omni Credit Services.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Bettie Mae Snells.
He leaves to recall his life and love: his father, Murphy R. Snells, Sr. (Barbara); brother, Roger A. Snells, Sr.; godparents, Elder and Mrs. B. F. (Martina) Strange; chil- dren, Elondra, Darius, Ja’iris, Chelsea, Kianna, Jas- myn, Emonie, DeAndre, Aden, Jazsmin, Khalil, Lak- isha, Jaleesa, Shayla Storm and the Snells family; sisters, Olivia Kojima (Hiromu), and Samantha D. MR. DWAYNE DARWIN DAVIS
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Dwayne Darwin Davis of Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016, will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Jackson Fu- neral Home, 4605 34th Street, Tampa, at 1 p. m., Pas- tor Mark Walker, officiating.
Dwayne was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 11, 1964, to Clyde C. Davis and the late Barbara Lewis. He was educated in the Cook County Schools.
Dwayne moved to Jack- sonville, FL, in 1988, and was employed by Coca-Cola, be- fore relocating to Tampa in the early 90s. He was em- ployed with the City of Tampa for many years in the Solid Waste Department, as well as Republic Recycling. Dwayne also worked as a ma- chine operator at various steel fabricating companies throughout the Tampa Bay area.
He was well-known and respected for his love, sense of humor and his outgoing personality by his family and friends. Dwayne was a loving son, father, brother, nephew and cousin.
He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: sons, Dwayne Davis, II, Wayne Davis, and Anquan Rogers, all of Tampa; daughters, Bar- bara Davis, Briana Davis, Teona Rodgers and An- quanesha Rodgers, all of Tampa; longtime compan- ion, Tiffney Wilson of Tampa; father, Clyde C. Davis (Bessie) of Chicago, IL; brothers, Ramon Robertson (Teresa) of AZ, and Robert Robertson, Jr. (Sharon), of Chicago, IL; stepfather, Robert Robertson of Chicago, IL; 6 grandchildren, Ey’mani Riley, Dwayne Davis, III, Caleb Rodgers, Antonio Riley, Quincy Douthit and Aubryanna Davis, all of Tampa; special cousins, Shareen Aarif of Georgia, and Tamra Frelix of Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other rela- tives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Jackson Funeral Home, 4605 34th Street, Tampa, on Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 10-11:30 a. m.
The memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p. m.

MS. MARILYN D, BROWN
Ms. Marilyn D. Brown, a native of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Funeral services will be con- ducted on Saturday, May 21 at 1 p. m. at New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church located at 2811 N. 17th St., with Pastor Aaron Mumford, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
She attended Hillsborough County Public Schools, Tampa Bay Technical High School and Hillsborough Community Col- lege. She was a transportation aide with Hillsborough County Schools. She also worked in customer service and call cen- ter positions for different or- ganizations such as: Hillsborough County Schools, Time Customer Service, JP Morgan Chase and Verizon.
Marilyn was an avid reader, lifelong student of the Bible and devout follower of Christ. She was a dedi- cated and faithful member of New Harmony M. B. Church in Tampa, where she was a member of the choir, served as Deaconess and assisted in many church functions, du- ties and outreach.
Marilyn was preceded in death by: her parents, Her- man Brown and Geraldine Thomas; and sisters, Beverly Henderson, Gale Thomas and Vera Brown.
Marilyn leaves to embrace her enduring love and memo- ries with: her friend and hus- band of many years, Oscar Belton, Jr.; her sons, Alex Belton, Gerald Belton, Mar- lon Belton (Jasmine Ashby), Cantrell Belton (De’Andra Belton), Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Belton, III, Andre Belton (Veronica Belton), and Alonzo Belton; her brothers, Russell Golden (Marsha Taye), and Clarence Brown; her sister, Valerie Brown; her nephews, Clifford Henderson (Cora Henderson), Roderick Thomas, Ansanto Thomas, Jamal Renfro, Aki Renfro, Shamir Smith and Ira Ander- son; her nieces, Angela Golden, Keyanna Thomas, Shenae Brown and Resha Brown; her uncles, Steve Thomas (Rose Thomas), and Clarence Thomas; her aunts, Willie Lee Thomas and Laura Mae Malcolm; her grand- daughters, Candra Belton and Candrianna Belton; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Young (Raymond Young), Shirley Chattum, Sylvia Darby and Helen Simmons (Willie Sim- mons); brother-in-law, Ronald L.
