Bishop A. J. Richardson To Speak At Middleton’s Alumni Assoc. Banquet

The George S. Middleton High School Alumni Association has announced that Bishop Adam Jefferson Richardson, Pre- siding Prelate of the 11th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, will serve as its keynote speaker next month.
The alumni association will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Saturday, June 25, 2016 with its All-Class Reunion Scholarship Ban- quet. The banquet will be held at the Marriott Hotel, 1001 N. Westshore Blvd., Tampa. The banquet theme is “Precious Memories, Oh How They Linger.”
The 7 p. m. banquet is the alumni associa- tion’s primary fund raiser for its college schol- arship program for graduates of Middleton High.
Bishop Richardson, a 1965 graduate of Middleton High School, is a native of Tampa. He is married to Mrs. Connie Speights Richardson. As a high school student, Bishop Richardson was head drum major for the Marching Tigers Band under the lead- ership of Professor (Prof.) Michael A. Ro- driguez and Principal A. J. Ferrell. He went on to join the Marching 100 at Florida A&M University, Tallahassee.
