DEACON WILLIE TIM
A Homegoing Celebration for Deacon Willie Tim of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, will be held Saturday, July 22nd, 11 a. m. at First Union M. B. Church, 3707 E. Chelsea St., Pastor B. G. Gar- mon, officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Ceme- tery.
Deacon Willie Tim was born November 22, 1919, in Thomasville, Georgia. He was born to the late Albert Tim and Priscilla Wackin. He attended the public schools in Georgia. He joined the United States Army, where he served as a Radio Oper- ation Serviceman. He was honor- ably discharged as a World War II veteran. Deacon Willie Tim was a hard worker as a construction worker, crossing guard, and a meat salesman. He eventually owned his own convenience store located on 3617 E. Chelsea St. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing.
After the death of his wife, Golla Tim, three years later he met Bernice Moore and they mar- ried on September 27, 2007. Where life begins and love never ends.
Deacon Willie Tim was a faith- ful and dedicated member of the First Union M. B. Church for over 67 years. He was the longest living male member and the oldest

MS. LAVERN JEFFERS BRADE
Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Lavern Jeffers Brade, who passed away July 14, 2017, will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 11 a. m. at Kingdom Life Builders, 125 Church St., Tampa, FL, with Pastor Jerry Mallory, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Lavern Jeffers was born on September 8, 1974 on the beauti- ful Island of St. Croix, to Yvonne Hodge and Aaron Mack Jeffers. Lavern spent a few years in St. Croix and St. Kitts and later relo- cated to St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin Islands, where she attended The Ivanna Eudora Kean High School and graduated in June 1992. Lavern was joined in marriage to Vernell Vania Brade on Sep- tember 17, 1992. Out of this union, she gave birth to two chil- dren, Jovanio Brade and Jonel Brade. Several years later, she gave birth to her youngest son, Jacoi Gumbs.
In the year 2000, Lavern relo- cated to Tampa, Florida, where she furthered her studies at The University of Phoenix and re- ceived an Associate Degree in July of 2010. She did not stop there; she furthered her educa- tion at Strayer University and re- ceived a Bachelor of Science Degree in June 2012. Lav- ern believed in education and went on and received a Master of Science Degree in Business Man- agement in September 2013 from The University of Phoenix.
Lavern was employed and served in several capacities at Citibank in Tampa, and most re- cently was promoted to Vice Pres- ident at that facility.
On Friday, July 14th, 2017, Lavern answered her Eternal Call.
She leaves to mourn: her mother, Yvonne Hodge; her 6 brothers, David, Samuel, Elvet, Carl and Royston Hodge, and Roy Morton; 4 sisters, Debbrah Erma Williams, Latoya and Mikillia Jef- fers, and Sharon Jeffers-Merritt; 3 children, Jovanio Brade, Jonel Brade and Jacoi Gumbs; 6 aunts, 3 uncles, 12 nieces, 5 nephews and a host of beloved cousins; friends, Mark Freeman, Cristina Alves; best friend and 2nd mom, Pastor Anne Marie Mallory; and loved ones too nu- merous to mention.
Lavern was well loved by her family and friends and she will be greatly missed. Although we loved her dearly our Heavenly Fa- ther loves her best. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will be Friday from 5p.m.to8p.m.atHarmonFu- neral Home. The processional will assemble at the church at 10:45 a. m.

After retiring as president, he served as a member of the Number One Choir and part of the Sunday School. He also served as a joint deacon of the Greeters Ministry and Usher Board.

Ricardo Esteban Haynes was born on September 1, 1989 in Tampa. He was preceded in death by: mother, Marsha Machado Haynes.

Javie’onna Lofton, aka, J. J. Chin; aka, Adam, was born in Tampa, on June 17, 2008 to La Lofton (mother), Venell L. Vann- Comer (father). She was a stu- dent in the Hillsborough County, Pinellas County and Orange County School Systems. She was also affiliated with Pastor Bandy.
Javie’onna Lofton was pre- ceded in death by: a host of fam- ily: Vann, Fletcher, Sessions, Comer, Solomon, Bell, Godwin, Anderson, White, Bryant, Cald- well, Clarke, Carnegie, Gibson, McCarthy, and McCloud family relatives.
