Homeless Helping Homeless (HHH)
Speaking with the President of Homeless Helping Homeless the urgent need right now is for someone to in- vite the President, Adolphus Parker to speak at a func- tion and let him explain how much he has done to improve the homeless persons’ lives on the street. He has 16 other ways to assist them besides feeding them, but it takes funds.
If you are interested in helping Mr. Parker in his quest to do more for the homeless, please call him di- rectly at 813-415-3586.
If you are interested in participating on a “Love Offer-
ing Gospel Program for the Homeless Helping Home- less,” contact Gloria at the number below. We need local gospel groups and church choirs for the program and a host church.
Mr. Parker has done a tremendous job for the homeless but he cannot do it alone. Am I my brother’s keeper? The answer is, “Yes, I am!
MB2K Ministry
My Brothers 2 Keep Prison Ministry is asking for do- nations from the community of book bags (whether zip or nylon string tie). Many of the homeless are vets, or were formerly incarcerated, or just someone who fell on hard times which has resulted in them living on the streets.
We are also requesting donations of toiletries such as: soap, body wash, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, wet wipes, washcloths, combs, brushes, shampoo, deodorant, body spray, socks, tablet, pen, envelopes, and individu- ally wrapped snacks such as trail mix, peanuts, gum and cookies.
Call Gloria at the number below for pick up, we want to distribute book bags with goodies to the homeless close to Christmas. We are starting a bit late, but we want this to be an ongoing effort each year!
