The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has located the vehicle they believe was involved in a deadly hit and run accident. A 19-year-old died after being struck on Orient Road just north of Hanna Avenue.
Police said as a result of numerous tips the Sheriff’s Office received, they located a 1998 Dodge Ram pick-up truck parked behind a resi- dence within Hillsborough County. Police Find Truck Involved In Crash That Killed Teenager
Teacher Charged With Having Sex With Student
    A 44-year-old Tampa man was arrested Friday and is facing several charges involv- ing pornography. He is being held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bond.
The Tampa Police Depart- ment received a tip that a Facebook account was up- loading child pornography photographs. The photo- graphs were still shots and videos. Police received the tip in September and launched an investigation.
On November 2nd, detec- tives with the Tampa Police Department contacted the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in reference to the case. The continuing investigation revealed that the uploaded images were being received in Tampa and that they were coming from North Carolina.
The investigation revealed that the activity had been tak- ing place since April 2017. During the investigation a ju- venile female was identified as the victim as well as the lo- cation in Tampa where the child pornography was being received.
Working in conjunction, the two law enforcement agencies obtained a search warrant, responded to the Tampa location, and served the search warrant.
East Tampa
MOSTAFA ABDALLA Hit and Run Victim

According to police, the accident occurred between 10
p.m., Saturday, October 29th, and 2:30 a.m., on Sunday, October 30th. Nineteen-year- old Mostafa Mohammed Abdalla was walking south- bound on Orient Road when he was struck by what was believed to be a green pickup truck. The passenger mirror of the truck was found at the scene.
Abdalla’s body was dis- covered around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
After Abdalla’s family pleaded for help, the Sheriff’s Office received several anonymous tips. The investi- gation is continuing.
A Hillsborough County teacher was arrested early Friday, for having sex with a student. She resigned last Friday after bonding out of the Hillsborough County Jail.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, Ms. Caroline Meg Ring- gold Lawson was arrested at 3:15 a.m., at her residence and charged with two counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. The charges were enhanced, which could be punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
After learning about the incident through a series of text messages, detectives lo- cated and interviewed the student. The unidentified 17- year-old male student gave detectives a detailed account of the sexual encounter.
The student said he had gone to Ms. Lawson’s home around 5 p.m., on Wednesday when the inci- dent took place. He said they (Ms. Lawson) and he had consensual sex. The student identified the defendant as his English teacher at Lennard High School, police said.
The following day, law en- forcement contacted Ms. Lawson. She declined to make a statement. However,

police said, the 29-year-old woman spontaneously ad- mitted the incident was in- volving text messages she had sent.
Ms. Tanya Arja,
spokesperson for the Hills- borough County School Dis- trict said, “We are deeply disappointed by these charges. The safety of our students is our top priority. We are working with law en- forcement as they investi- gate. This employee has resigned her position with the district.”
Ms. Arja further stated that Ms. Lawson was hired in August 2014 as an English teacher at Lennard High School. She has not worked at any other schools and had no other disciplinary prob- lems.
 Gunman Shoots
  DABBS B. POSTMA
Police made contact with Dabbs B. Postma, who was at the residence. After having been read his rights, Postma allegedly admitted to the video and photographic child pornography uploads. He also admitted to having sex with the juvenile in Tampa as well as in North Carolina.
Postma was taken into custody and charged with 10 or more counts of possession of child pornography, promo- tion of a sexual performance by a child, and sexual battery (familial or custodial author- ity). He was also charged with 3 counts of violation of proba- tion.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is working in conjunction with law enforce- ment in North Carolina on the cases.
A man reported to police that he was shot while driving in East Tampa early Sunday. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threat- ening injuries.
According to the Tampa Police Department, Leonardo Iciano-Perez was reportedly driving on E. Hillsborough Avenue when he noticed another car following him. He told police that he turned south on Nebraska Av- enue and the older model, dark-colored sedan followed him.
When he reached the inter- section of Nebraska Avenue and E. Giddens, an unidenti- fied assailant fired several shots, striking his vehicle mul- tiple times. The car then drove away eastbound on E. Giddens and turned northbound on N. 15th Street.
Iciano-Perez drove to a Shell Gas Station, 5320 N. Florida Avenue, and called po- lice shortly after 2 a.m. When police arrived, they discovered he has been grazed on the back of the head by one of the bul- lets.
His vehicle had been hit by multiple shots as well. Police also discovered several shell casings at Nebraska Avenue and E. Giddens, where the shooting took place.
A spokesperson for the Tampa Police Department said it does not appear that this shooting is related to any of the other known shootings in the area that are currently under investigation. The investiga- tion is ongoing.
