Nelly’s Alleged Rape Case Moves To Prosecutor’s Office
Wendy Williams Blames
Menopause As Reason She
Collapsed On Her Show
St. Louis rapper, Nelly’s rape case has been forwarded to the King County Prosecutor’s office in Washington for possi- ble criminal charges.
Auburn Police Department officials have concluded their investigation into claims he sex- ually assaulted a 21-year-old woman on his tour bus in a parking lot last month, and now the matter is currently “under review”, according to The Blast sources.
The state prosecutor will now determine if there is enough ev- idence to press charges.
Nelly was arrested days after the alleged incident and
Nelly continues to make it clear he has not been formally indicted on rape charges: “I have not been charged with a crime, therefore, no bail was re- quired. I was released (from custody), pending further in- vestigation.”
His lawyer Scott Rosen- blum is also convinced his client will be fully vindicated after police officers complete their investigation.
The unidentified accuser has since refused to testify against Nelly because she feels there’s no way she can beat the rapper in court, and she has re- quested the case be dropped.
It’s been less than a week since Wendy Williams shocked fans by collapsing on live television during her talk show.
Admitting that she “was scared to death,” she has since made a full recovery. Wendy, who is 53, does admit that she’s going through menopause, which may have triggered how and why her body temperature drastically changed. Recalling the health scare, she says, I got hot. I was dehydrated according to the paramedics. I’m a woman of a particular age. I’m also going through menopause.
Reflecting on the incident she says that she was espe- cially concerned about the im- pact of her fall.
