Rihanna's cousin was shot dead in Barbados - just hours after the pair spent Christmas Day together.
Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, 21, was walking through the Eden Lodge area of St Michael's on the holiday island when a gunman shot him sev- eral times at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rihanna, 29, posted a se- ries of photos of her and Al- leyne together and called for an end to gun crime as she mourned his death.

    Debra Lee Starts Her New Role At BET
Debra Lee will no longer run the daily operations at BET. Scott M. Mills will take her place.
T.I. Spends $20,000 To Help Single Mothers Buy Christmas Gifts
   Starting Jan. 1, Debra L. Lee will no longer oversee daily op- erations at Black Entertainment Television
(BET).
The network announced that she is stepping down as presi- dent and that Scott M. Mills has been tapped to take her place.
Lee, however, will continue to serve as chairman and CEO of the network, focusing on culti- vating the company’s relation- ships with external stakeholders and communities.

Delta’s “lack of urgency” may have left him grounded on a tarmac for more than an hour, but the King of the South was eventually able to help more than a few deserving moms.
T.I. was grounded on a Delta flight, but managed to get back in time to spread some cheer.

walks into a local Target store and instructs “all the single mothers” picking up gifts for their children, to meet him in the back of the store where he promptly purchased electron- ics, toys, and more for over a dozen people. According to the post, Tip dropped $20,000 in 30 minutes.
“I’m blessed to be able to do anything I can for those in need,” he captioned the post. “Merry Christmas to everyone who helped me thumb through 20k in 30mins. If I missed you... I’ll catch up with you next year!!! Happy Holidays to all of you!!!!”

Solange Knowles has been forced to cancel her New Year’s Eve performance at Afropunk Fest in South Africa due to an ongoing health struggle, she revealed Wednesday on Instagram.
The singer, 31, shared the news on social media and wrote that she struggled to find the words to explain the disorder.
“Wrote, deleted and re wrote this like 5 times...” Knowles wrote. “Still not sure what exactly or how much I want to share... How- ever it’s so important to me for the people in South Africa, a place that has tremendous meaning to me and that has given me SO SO MUCH, to know why I won’t be performing at Afro Punk this NYE.”
