Tampa Resident Passes After Battle With Cancer
Ishmon A. Johnson
passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was 54 years old.
Johnson is a native of Jacksonville, FL, where he graduated from William M. Raines High School. He also graduated from Edward Wa- ters College.
A member of First Baptist Church of College Hill, Johnson was a manager for Winn-Dixie, having been employed 37 years. Photog- raphy was one of his hobbies.
He leaves to survive his wife, Tameca Johnson (they celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on Thursday, March 17th); daughters, TaVianna (Ja- mall) Sanders and Kyn- dall Johnson; and son, Ishmon, III; his mother, Gwendolyn Johnson of Austin, TX, sister, LaGwyn (Andre) Durden; and
