Will Packer Is Executive Producer Of ‘Roots’ Miniseries
WILL PACKER
Will Packer is known throughout the filming indus- try for his productions such as Straight Outta Compton, Ride Along. Think Like A Man, and Think Like A Man Two. His latest contri- bution to the film industry is his role as Executive Producer of the revisited miniseries, Roots.”
The 42-year-old native of St. Petersburg recently returned home to participate in Burg- Born. The event, which will take place on June 16th at the Mahaffey Theater, features local entrepreneurs in the arts, technology, and craft beverage, whose businesses have earned national or international pub- licity.
Keep Saint Petersburg Local and the Greenhouse are spon- soring the event for businesses with roots in that community.

Vickie Carpenter and Donald Duncan (the proud par- ents), family and friends celebrate and congratulate Vonterio Duncan on successfully completing his 12-year tenure as a Hills- borough County Student.
Vonterio will graduate from Middleton High School on Thursday, June 9, 2016, ranked as #10 with a GPA of 6.65 in the class of 102 graduates.
Vonterio has received numerous awards for his accomplish- ments and as he continues to keep God first in his life, we are confident that his success will continue.
As well, Vonterio has received multiple offers for colleges to attend, but he has decided to start his college roots at The Univer- sity of South Florida (USF), majoring in Computer Science.
Vonerio’s goal is to become a senior software developer and to eventually own a thriving business in the chosen field, accord- ingly.

End Of Year Family & Friends Event Planned
On Friday, June 3rd, stu- dents, their families, staff members and friends will gather at the Bible Truth Ministries School, 4902 N. 22nd Street. The purpose of the gathering is to close out the school year with an af- ternoon of fun in a safe envi- ronment.
The activities will take place from 10 a.m., until 3 p.m. Some of the fun things on hand include a Bounce House that has been do- nated for the event by Dub- gotemjumpin Party Rentals.
