Lennox Lewis has branded Floyd May- weather's comeback against MMA fighter Conor McGre- gor "ridiculous."
McGregor will make his professional boxing debut against Mayweather at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Aug. 26 in a fight predicted to make millions.
But some boxing fans -- in- cluding former undisputed world heavyweight champion Lewis -- will not be buying the fight on pay-per-view.
"I can't take it serious," Lewis told ESPN. "May-

weather is the best in his weight class; no one can touch him in boxing. He's a pugilist of the highest order, so for an- other man from a different
sport to fight him?
"It's ridiculous to me. You
are talking about one disci- pline where you can use only your hands and only a few can do it. Every battle sport always starts with your hands, but they are two totally different sports.
"Floyd will stop him. He's just too good at boxing for McGregor, and McGregor is just too inexperienced. I wouldn't buy it, but I would be interested in the result. To me, I know who is going to win al- ready, so there's no use in watching it."
Pacers Have Reportedly Discussed Paul George Trade With Cavs
Paul George has report- edly informed the Indiana Pacers that he is not going to sign an extension with the team, and the trade talks sur- rounding the star forward are heating up as a result.
Yes, they even involve the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Sources told reporters that the Pacers have had early dis- cussions with the Cavs about the possibility of a George trade. With George said to be leaning toward signing with the Los Angeles Lakers next summer, the expectation is that he would only be a rental for a team like Cleveland.
The Pacers reportedly have

not reached out to the Lakers, which makes sense because L.A. is unlikely to give up much if they can just sign George in a year. Woj- narowski notes that Indiana is asking for “a substantial package of talent and draft
picks for George,” but they seem unlikely to get that much unless George agrees to sign an extension with the trade partner.
If George does end up going to some team as a one- year rental, the Cavs make sense. Cleveland could create its own super-team with George, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, and the Cavs might even be able to get George to change his mind about signing with the Lakers if things go well.
George was recently asked if he plans to talk to LeBron this summer, and he gave very little away.
