Tampa Bay Buccaneers outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett will miss the rest of the 2022 season after suffer- ing a torn Achilles, coach Todd Bowles said Friday.
An MRI on Friday con- firmed the Achilles tear, with a source telling ESPN's Adam Schefter that Bar- rett is expected to be out seven to nine months.
"It's a tough break for him," Bowles said. "Any time you lose somebody like that that commands double- teams, it makes it harder for everybody else. He's been consistent since he's been here. He's been productive. He started off playing well last night. It's just a shame to see."

the third quarter of Thurs- day's 27-22 loss to the Balti- more Ravens. After being attended to by athletic train- ers, Barrett came off the field while barely putting any weight on his lower left leg and was carted off to the locker room once on the side- line.
Stone wrote an article outlining all the different ways the movie, which is based on a book, es- pouses false and damaging nar- ratives about Jews. The book and film accuses Jews of being responsible for the black slave trade, among other lies.
“I’m not going to stand down on anything I believe in,” he said. “I’m only going to get stronger because I’m not alone. I have a whole army around me.”

Deion Sanders’ team went out and put on another clinic, thrashing the Jaguars, 35-0. The win improved the Tigers to 8-0 over and 5-0 in SWAC play.
The game was stopped for a weather delay early in the fourth quarter but it mattered not as Jackson State added a final touchdown when it re- sumed.
Shedeur Sanders threw for 194 yards and a touch- down. The coach’s son also ran for 2 scores.
Sy’Veon Wilkerson ran for 96 yards, including a 26- yard TD run.

bounced into England on a wave of positivity and plati- tudes. After mid-air high knees above the Atlantic, he vowed himself ready to rock.
Despite a hamstring in- jury and pressure to justify his extraordinary $1million- a-week deal, he just about did that, helping the Denver Broncos to a priceless 21-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Sta- dium.
Going into the game they were two desperate teams with exactly the same 2-5 record having lost four straight. For one, the chance of breathing life into a season. For the other, a pressure cooker of a flight home fu- elled by discontent.
After more high knees, this time on terra firma in the warm-up, Wilson’s first

possession was a microcosm of his stint in Denver. His first pass should have been intercepted by Darious Williams. Then, after a four-yard gain from Melvin Gordon, Wilson was sacked on third down by Arden Key for a loss of seven yards.
The Broncos play the Ten- nessee Titans Sunday at 1 p.m.
