Jackson State Rolled Over Bethune In Gateway Classic
Florida’s Bethune-Cookman University and Mississippi’s Jackson State University met last weekend (Oct. 15th) at a mutual site, Jacksonville, FL, to go at each other on the gridiron.
Tampa alumni of B-CU and friends traveled to Jacksonville to support their football team. However, in the finale, it was Jackson State rolling over Bethune, 48- 8. Jackson State’s quarterback, Shedeur Sanders threw the first touchdown of the game. (Photographs by Julia Jackson)

Photographer Julia Jackson, of Tampa, had an opportunity to spend time with a cousin, Janice Cot- ton, of Jacksonville, both B-CU grads, at the B-CU Meet and Greet Tailgate Party.
     The B-CU Band performed.
