  Takeoff, Rapper From Popular Group Migos, Shot And Killed In Houston
 The rapper Takeoff, a member of the hip-hop trio Migos, has died following a shooting in Texas on Tuesday.
Takeoff skyrocketed to fame as a part of the Grammy-nom- inated group Migos, whose members also included the late rapper's uncle, Quavo, and his cousin Offset.
The 28-year-old's death sent shockwaves across social media, with tributes pouring in from musicians, politicians and fans.
Takeoff, born as Kirsnick Khari Ball, was fatally shot at a bowling alley in the city of Houston, entertainment out- let TMZ reported.
A Migos representative later confirmed his death to the AP news agency.

Takeoff was known for his staccato-style rap, and the group is credited with bring- ing the influential rap sub- genre of Southern trap to the musical mainstream.
Takeoff and Quavo had just begun releasing music as a duo in the weeks leading up to Takeoff’s death. The pair did not reveal exactly why they had parted ways with their third Migos member, Offset, but hinted that a lack of “loyalty” had to do with the decision. So far, Quavo and Offset have not publicly spo- ken in the aftermath of Take- off’s tragic death.
