She loved dearly her husband of 45 years, her children, grand- children, great-grandchildren, and sisters. She was a loving, hu- morous, giving, sensitive, and straightforward person. Her heart was full of joy and she loved to share it with her friends and family. Her passions in- cluded taking care of people, making ceramics, crocheting, traveling, and having fun; but her main love was her family. Edner adored her great- grandchildren and loved spend- ing time with them. The circle of many will feel her absence at every birthday, holiday, trip, and missed phone call. This passing will leave a big hole in our hearts, one that she would want us to fill with love and laughter and to try to make others happy, too.
Edner is survived by: her husband, Gerard Norton; chil- dren, Benjamin Charleston, San- dra Charleston, Pamela C. Washington (Bishop Sean C. Washington, Sr.), Gerard Nor- ton, Jr., Dr. Terri R.
