Greater Tampa Chapter Of Jack And Jill Of America, Inc. Supports Local Community Organizations
Annually the Greater Tampa Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. chooses a local community organization to support with its year-long fundraising efforts. For the 2014-15 year, the Greater Tampa Chapter chose two organizations—Miracles Outreach Community Development Center, Inc. and REACHUP, Inc.
Each organization received $2,615 to support ongoing service to children and families throughout Tampa Bay. Miracles Outreach was chosen for its unique offering of a sense of belonging and purpose for girls through a esidential housing facility as well as the various programs and services for boys and families, such as mentoring, GED and job readiness reparation.
Also, REACHUP was recognized as a community resource that empowers women and families to have healthy babies and develop productive lives. Throughout the year, Jack and Jill Moms partnered with each organization to learn of its mission and help raise awareness about its services and needs. The Greater Tampa Chapter of Jack and Jill is very proud to have collaborated with these organizations.
