MRS. CYNTHIA MARIA BARNER
Mrs. Cynthia Maria Barner, of Tampa, peacefully answered the Master’s call on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 11 a. m. at First Bap- tist Church of Lincoln Gar- dens, 4025 W. Palmetto St., Reverend Anthony W. Greene, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Cynthia was born on De- cember 28, 1955, to Joseph and Annie Pearl Thompson. She was a graduate of Robin- son High School in 1972.
She married her high school sweetheart, Lawrence Barner and to this union was born, Tiffani and Traci.
She was employed as a Di- rectory Assistance Represen- tative at GTE/Verizon for over 20 years, where she re- tired.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Joseph Thompson; step-father, Her- shel Anderson; and an uncle, Albert Robinson, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: mother, Annie Pearl Thompson; two devoted and loving children, Tiffani Barner and Traci Barner; grandmother, Sylvia Allen; sister, Gail Anderson; grandchildren, Arseles Miller, Jr., Antonio Jackson, Alec Archie, Jala and Jada Jackson; great grandchild, Jahari Miller; niece, LaTasha Freeman (Jerry); great niece, JoNique Holmes; great nephews, Kamren Grier and JaShaun Holmes; aunts, Mary Lavett, Alma Kinsey (Sam), Carolyn Clemons, Mary Robinson and Patricha Lawson; cousins, Tanya Jackson, Linda Shelton, Ricky, Ronnie and Robin Kinsey, Angela and Terrance O’Hara, Freddy Clemons, and Pia Pierre (Sonny); nephew, Michael Barner; and a host of loving and ded- icated relatives and friends, too numerous to mention.

MS. RASHONDA LASHAWN BOSTICK
Ms. Rashonda Lashawn Bostick of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 11 a. m. at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, 1006 W. Cypress Street, with Reverend Dr. W. James Fa- vorite, pastor, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Rashonda was a lifelong native of Tampa, and was ed- ucated in the school district of Hillsborough County.
She accepted Christ at an early age with a procession of baptism at Beulah Baptist Church, Tampa. Rashonda was a faithful and devoted member, until her health begin to fail.
She was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Catherine Everette; her grandfathers, Eugene Fields and Arthur Bostick; her aunts, Victoria Myers and Lily Mae Price; her uncle, An- thony Sutton; and her cousin, Michelle Everette.

Mr. Eric Cresencio Holmes of Tampa, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Bible- Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace, 8718 N. 46th Street, with Reverend Dr. Earl B. Mason, pastor, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Eric C. Holmes, was a native of Washington, D. C., and was a resident of Tampa for 38 years.
He attended Hillsborough High School and graduated with the class of 1988. While attending Hillsborough High School, he wrestled and played football. Throughout high school, Eric participated in Upward Bound and fur- thered his education at Dil- lard University.
He was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Louise Reeves; his brother, Hes- himur “Omarr” Holmes; his aunt, Lenora McCants; and his cousin, Abdullah Stokes.

MS. ELLA M. LEWIS
Ms. Ella M. Lewis, 84, de- parted this life on Friday, July 3, 2015, at her home in Tampa.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 11 a. m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 E. Ellicott Street, Rev- erend T. W. Jenkins, pastor, with Reverend Ronnie Mc- Cray, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Ella was a native of Nakina, North Carolina, and moved to Tampa in the sum- mer of 1960 with her family. For over 30 years, she worked tirelessly to support her family in several of the local hospitals in Tampa.
During her retirement, she traveled the world with her family.
Her beautiful smile and charming personality invited almost everyone around her to embrace her witty and lov- ing spirit. Ella never met a stranger, and her home was generally open to everyone. Ella was affectionately known as “The Butterfly Lady” from her love of butterflies.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Reverend Charlie and Dollie Frink Stanley; siblings; son, Joseph; daughter, Hazel; and grandson, Corey.
She leaves to cherish many memories with: her children, Bennie Lewis, Benjamin Lewis, Debra Simmons, William Lewis, Elizabeth Lewis, and Yvette Lewis; son- in-law, Michael Rivers; sur- rogate children, Jeannette Lawrence, Tracey Council, James Lawrence, Rodney Barbee and Kathy McCray; grandchildren, Tanya Bar- ron, Antwon Lewis, Willisha Williams, Phylena Lewis, Bennie Lewis, Jr., Ja’Liz Bowden, Marlon Lewis, Jerry Seabrooks, Tony Brew- ington, Michael Addison, Monica Williams, Tequila Gouds, Demeko Wells, Ivoryell Gordon, and Jeremy Lewis; several great grand- children; a host of nieces and nephews; and an entire com- munity.

MRS. MARY SUE BARNES ALLEN
Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Mary Sue Barnes Allen, will be held on Satur- day, July 18, 2015, at 3 p. m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3905 E. Elli- cott, Tampa, Rev. Dr. T. W. Jenkins, pastor, with Rev. Robert Glass, officiating.
Mary left this world on July 11, 2015, to join her Heavenly Father who granted her eternal life. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mary Sue Barnes Allen was born in Raleigh, Georgia, on January 10, 1938, to the late Mary Thomas and Char- lie Williams; and JB Thomas, stepfather (deceased).
She was a bus driver for Hillsborough County School District and married to the late Frank G. Allen.
She was a dedicated mem- ber of New Hope M. B. Church and was a part of many ministries.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by: son, Leslie Allen; brother, Willie Williams; aunts, Grace Gordon and Eddie Mae Barnes; uncles, Bill Jackson and Thomas Barnes; and goddaughter, Erica Thomas.
