MR. LEROY S. AIKENS
Homegoing services for Mr. Leroy S. Aikens of Tampa, who passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Aikens Fu- neral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Minister Kevin Den- nie, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bush- nell, FL, on Monday, July 20, 2015.
Leroy was born May 27, 1944, in Tampa, to the late Dexter and Liller Mae Aikens.
Leroy was a graduate of Middleton Senior High School, class of 1963. He ob- tained an Associate of Arts degree in California.
Leroy retired with an hon- orable discharge from the United States Navy, where he served his country as an Air Traffic Controller.
He was an avid reader and loved fishing as a hobby. While he was introverted, he enjoyed spending time with his selected friends. He was very generous with his neigh- bors of the River Pines Apartment Community where they considered him a brother.
He was preceded in death
by: his parents; siblings, Rus- sell, Dorothy, Lewis, Eliza- beth Ann and Norwell Aikens; uncle, Joseph Aikens; aunt, Doris J. Han- ley; nieces, Rachel Aikens and Diana Aikens; and nephew, Russell Aikens, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Tonya “Honey” Aikens and Arjelyia “GiGi” Aikens; son, Randy T. Aikens; grandchildren, Shayna Mora, Keith Madi- son, Ardrian Lasing, II, Daa- jzia Aikens, Charles Moore, III and Miranda J. Aikens; great grandchildren, Christo- pher, Josiah, Cameron and Lola Mora, Audrey, Aaliyah and Zoe Lasing; brothers, Thomas Aikens (Yvonne), Edward Caris Aikens, Sr., Henry E. Aikens, Charlie L. Aikens and Herman L. Tim; sisters, Betty J. Aikens, Shirley M. “Shay” Aiken and Gwendolyn Tim Powell; for- mer wife, Constance Aikens; nieces, Vivian Aikens Linero, Rosa Aikens, Benita G. Jenk- ins, Doris J. Aikens, Sonja Aikens, Ranelda Spence, La Cheryl Aikens, Nicole Aikens, Ebone Aikens, Emani Aikens, Latasha Aikens, Monique Powell-Davis and Cicely Pow- ell; nephews, Daryl Aikens (Maxine), Teryl Aikens (Ros- alinde), Barry L. Aikens (Cheryl), Christopher Aikens, Adrian Aikens (Tressa), Charlie Aikens, Jr., Christopher Garcia and Ed- ward Caris Aikens, Jr.; cousins, Virgie Nell Miles and family, and Emma Cavin and family; and a host of other cousins, family mem- bers and sorrowing friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2015, from 5- 8 p. m. The family will re- ceive friends from 5-7 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

MRS. JOHNNIE MAE BOLDEN-HOLLOWAY
Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Johnnie Mae Bolden- Holloway of Tampa, who passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, will be held Sat- urday, July 18, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Highland Church of Christ, 2800 N. Highland Ave., Tampa, 33602, Rev. Darryl Beasley, officiating. The internment will be in Garden of Memories Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Johnnie Mae Bolden- Holloway was born Friday, December 10, 1937, in Saint Petersburg, FL, to the late Lil- lie Bell Bolden-Mosley and Ned Bolden.
She was preceded in death by: her brothers, Willie (Bone Devil) Bolden and Nathaniel (Devil) Bolden, Sr.; great granddaughter, Elana B. Poole; and nephews, Regi- nald (Greg) Bolden and Lance Bolden.
She attended Dunbar Ele- mentary School, Carver Jun- ior High School and went on to graduate from Don Thompson Vocational High School in 1956. From there, she pursued a career in nursing, graduating from Brewster Vocational School. She began her career at Clara Frye Hospital and eventually retired from James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.
She was married to the late Howard Holloway.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Donna Holloway-Sanders; spiritual son, Rickey D. Smith; grand- children, Tenesha D. Smith, Tiffany D. Smith, Allison R. Poole (Brian), Shandann C. White and Kwaku J. Smith; great grandchildren, James A. Peterson, Jayson D. Peterson, Jada R. Peterson, Ricaria T. Smith-Watson, Bria’na D. Peo- ples, Xavier O. Poole, Gabrial A. Poole, Nia R. Poole, Arayah R. Poole, Olivia A. Poole and Christopher I. Pool; sister-in- law, Mercedes Bolden-Polite; nieces, Brenda Bolden-Hines, Marcia Bolden-Norflee, Terry Bolden and Avalinda Hol- loway; nephews, Nathaniel Bolden, Jr., Dwight Bolden, Michael Bolden, Larry (Teresa) Holloway, Ronald (Christina) Holloway, Tyrone (Susan) Bowers, Fred Harris, Calvin Bolden, Dwayne Bolden and Antonio Bolden; cousins, Abner Ford and Frank Revels; and Donna’s siblings, Daralyn Doby, Ty- rone (Twila) Timmons, Willie (Tammy) Timmons, and Os- borne (Kim) Timmons.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2015, from 5- 8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Sat- urday for the service.
MR. WILLIAM JAMES
Mr. William James of Tampa passed away Thurs- day, July 9, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 12:30 p. m. with Pas- tor John H. Jerelds, officiat- ing, at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E Lake Ave., Tampa.
William James was born in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1925.
He was a resident of Tampa for many years after being honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He held a distinction of being one of the last remain- ing World War II Veterans alive until his passing last week.
Mr. James was preceded in death by: his wife, Versey Joann James; son, Herbert James; and numerous other family members.
Mr. James leaves to cher- ish fond memories: his chil- dren, Willie Harris, Eric Harris, Corey Carter, Chris James and Dominic James, Monica Harris, Cierra James, Cayliff James, LaSo- nia James, and Chonda James; grandchildren, B. J., Zarrick, Andrew, Shawn, An- thony, Sincere, Antonio T., Antonio S., Cavon, Simuni, Shameka, Sinaya, Tayana, Reginae, Rahiana, Caleah, Jayden, James and Adrian James; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Cleveland (Ann) Moss, Jr., and Marvin Moss; sister-in- law, Clevetta (Marty) McHenry; very special friends, Pastor John and Mrs. Janice Jerelds, and members of Reborn Chris- tian Fellowship; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

MS. IRENE TILLMAN
Ms. Irene Tillman was pre- ceded in death by: her par- ents, Leroy and Annie Lue Davis; son, Rudolph Franklin; and nephew, Ron- nie Gray.
Her smile and loving mem- ories will forever be felt by: her caring son, Johnas Lee Tillman, Jr.; grandchildren, Jomesha Curry (Desmond), Cassandra Franklin, Johnas Tillman, III (Michelle), and Rudy Franklin (Latoya), all of Tampa; great grands, Desjon, Marcia-Lillian, Desjora Curry, Kiaus Collins, Akyla Franklin, Johnas Till- man, IV, and Makayla Till- man, all of Tampa; a devoted sister, Minnie Lee Gray (Willie James) of Orlando FL; nieces, Deborah Hunter (Kim), and Wanda Smith (Ramzie) of Orlando, FL; grand nephews, Coy Hunter (Carissa), Ramzie Smith, Jr. and Razzie Smith; daughters- in-law, Patricia Green, Mary Joyce Jackson and Rev. The service attendees are asked to arrive at the church at 11:45 a. m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 12 noon until the service.
The family will receive vis- itations on Friday, July 17, 2015, from 5-7 p. m. at the Pilgrims Rest M. B. Church, 4202 Nassau Street, Tampa, (in the Carver City area). Rev. Dr. Linda C Reece, pas- tor; Pastor Author Randel, eulogist, with Rev. Dr. Mar- cia Turner, officiating.
The interment will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery on Lake Avenue.
