The stars of movie ‘Straight Outta Compton’ in theaters next month.
With the N.W.A biopic’s, Straight Outta Compton, re- lease a month away, details have emerged about the film’s soundtrack. The film’s director, F. Gary Gray, revealed that the soundtrack will feature Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and show Dr. Dre’s musical growth.
“He went deep and you can hear some of his influences, with jazz and soul and a little bit of funk. And Kendrick Lamar is on, Eminem; a lot
of great guest stars,” Gray said“But it’s really Dre and how he’s evolved and how he’s matured as not only a person, but as an artist. It’s deep and it’s great.”
Gray also teased that the Straight Outta Compton flick will give a detailed look into the N.W.A. member’s lives that they can’t get elsewhere.
Straight Outta Comp- t o n hits theaters Aug. 14th. No word on the soundtrack release date.

Brandy sings her heart out on the subway, but as you can see ‘no one cares’!
First, Tyrese solicited pas- sengers on a NYC subway car to buy his new album, Black Rose, now Brandy takes her talents to the underground transit, too, only this is for fun.
The R&B singer (who re- cently extended her run in Broadway’s "Chicago" as Roxie Hart) and her personal trainer decided to be sponta- neous and hop onto the com- mon man’s mode of transportation for some fun.
“I’d been riding the subway after I worked out with my
trainer — I loved getting the whole New York culture, I loved the normalcy of it. So I took my camera guy, who’s also a friend of mine, and said, ‘Let’s just do something adven- turous! Something fun! Let me sing on the train and see what happens!” And that’s the reac- tion I got — no reaction! And it was so funny — to sing on the train and no one reacts, no one cares. It was a moment!,” she said. The guy that did respond said, 'We’ve seen this before. This is New York.”
With the recent spike of vio- lence in Chicago, the city could use some unity and positive ex- amples. A few of Chitown’s biggest performers could soon be coming together to work on music. Chance The Rapper visited Windy City Live, and the Surf emcee hinted at some huge news involving his hometown.
“[Kanye] is my favorite mu- sician. I look up to him a lot,” said Chance. “We started working very recently and have a lot of cool ideas brewing.”
So does that mean Chance and Ye are collaborating? After first hesitating to confirm he has something officially in the works with the GOOD Music head, Chance looked into the camera and made an an- nouncement.
“Me, Kanye, a lot of Chicago artists, and a lot of dope artists are working on a collaborative effort that will be released ten- tatively,” Chance declared.

Slim Of 112 Prepping New Music
Lead singer, Slim from Bad Boy Records R&B group, 112.
It's been almost seven years since 112 member Slim re- leased his solo debut album, Love's Crazy, and now the hia- tus will come to an end. The R&B veteran will release his sophomore effort this fall via Shanachie Entertainment.
Slim spoke about the pro- ject's direction. "When you lis- ten to R&B music these days, it is definitely different from when I started out. There was a time when there was nothing wrong with a man expressing himself and when he did he was not considered soft. I am about protecting a legacy."
Slim and his group members made an appearance at the re- cent BET Awards during the Bad Boy reunion performance.
The year, 2015 is shaping up nicely for R&B! Several vet- eran female singers will be re- leasing music later this year.
Alicia Keys recently signed on to be the new brand ambassador for Levi's. Along with rocking the brand, the music fly girl will also use her power of music to extend Levi's reach to females inter- nationally. Keys will appear in a video made for TV and movie theaters as well as digital, which features a song entitled "28,000" (the number of days in an average life) from her coming album.
Monica is hard at work on
her upcoming album, Code Red. Led by the Lil Wayne- assisted buzz single, Just Right For Me," the veteran R&B singer recently stated that she plans to be fearless and courageous like "in the '90s when I released my first album 'Miss Thang'". Now, fans can preview another new offering from the set called "Ignore The Rules."
Kelly Rowland is giving us another musical treat. She first swagged and flexed on the hard-hitting snippet, "No Pressure," and now she's back showing vocal prowess on a ballad.
Fame Comes With A Price: Police Search For Rihanna’s Stalker Who Made Death Threats
Rihanna is being stalked by a man who calls himself Alex Mer- cer.
Brandy Sings On The Subway To ‘No Reaction’ From Riders
Police are investigating an- other deranged man who men- tioned killing Rihanna online.
The stalker, who goes by Alex Mercer on Twitter and Ralph Alexander on Yahoo, took a picture outside the su- perstar’s former house on April 30th (above) and posted it on Instagram. He followed the photo with the violent tweet, “Should of killed @ri- hanna a minute back I would be good right now. Sorcery is a weapon I use guns, bout to get
a gun license, can’t use my hands.”
Police were called to the home after the tweet, but by then, the perpetrator had left. Reports say authorities are try- ing to pin down the suspect through social media.
Rihanna has had her share of stalkers. Just last year, Kevin McGlynn, 54, was ar- rested for sending letters to RiRi’s NYC apartment al- legedly threatening her with murder and rape. He was later sent to a psychiatric hospital.
