Video Released In Papa John’s Robbery
Hit-And-Run
Suspect Facing Several Charges After Reported Robbery
Tampa Police reported that officers responded to a report of a person being robbed Tues- day at Dale Mabry and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boule- vard.
A witness called police when he saw what appeared to be a robbery. Officers found a car matching the description of the vehicle that had been de- scribed by the witness. The ve- hicle took off and was pursued by officers. As the driver tried to elude police, he drove onto a sidewalk, rolled into a rail- road sign and then backed into a police vehicle at Willow and Kennedy Boulevard.
No one was injured and the suspect was arrested.

Youngblood, 30, with aggra- vated fleeing, aggravated bat- tery on a law enforcement officer, possession of cocaine, possession of drug parapher- nalia and driving with a sus- pended license with knowledge.
On Tuesday, Tampa Police released a video that shows three masked men robbing a pizza restaurant and its em- ployees last week.
According to police, three men with handguns and wear- ing sunglasses and bandanas on their faces, entered the un- locked front door of Papa
John’s at 9430 North Florida Avenue at 1 a. m.
The men demanded money from the business and per- sonal property from the three employees. They all fled and no getaway vehicle was seen or heard.
No injuries were reported, and an investigation is ongo- ing.

Tampa Police report that on Monday, a teenager was hit by a vehicle that left the scene.
Police said Matesha Williams, 17, was struck by a vehicle on 40th Street near Hamilton. The vehicle didn’t stop after the incident, and has been described as a late 1990s to early 2000 model Toyota Camry Honda Accord, light blue in color with light window tint.
The driver of the car was de- scribed as a Black male who was last seen wearing a blue/white plaid shirt, jeans and a cap.
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the accident or know the whereabouts of the suspect or vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers or Tampa Po- lice.
Suspects Sought In Shooting
At Gentlemen’s Club
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 11th at 3:40 a. m., two Black males were kicked out of Club Gossip Gentleman’s Club at 4948 North 56th Street.
Deputies said the two men left the scene in separate vehi- cles and were heard saying they would return later with chop- pers (an automatic type rifle).
Security personnel who were working in the parking lot moved to the front entrance along 56th Street in case the men returned. Approximately 15-to-20 minutes later, security personnel saw a gray Impala pull into the front entrance and recognized it as one of the two vehicles that had left earlier.
Security personnel told deputies a man put his head out of the window of the vehicle and said, “I told you I would be back.” The car continued to travel 50 yards at which time a handgun was seen out of the passenger window. Several shots were heard being fired in the direction of the parking lot. Security personnel returned fire at the vehicle.
No one was injured in the al- tercation, and deputies ask any- one with information on the two men to all (813) 247-8200.
The two men were described as Black males, 20-to-30 years old, one of them with gold teeth and long dreadlocks pulled in a bun. The suspect vehicle was described as a newer model Chevrolet Impala with possible damage.

Armed Robbery Charge Gets Tampa Man 29-Year Prison Sentence
A 28-year-old Tampa man was sentenced to nearly 30 years in federal prison Tues- day. He was convicted by a federal jury on February 25, 2015.
Senior U. S. District Judge U.S. District Judge Susan C. Bucklew sentenced Shamorcus Brandan Nes- bitt, of Tampa, to 29 years for conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery, inter- ference with commerce by robbery, carrying a firearm in furtherance of a crime of vio- lence, and being a felon in pos- session of firearm and ammunition.
According to evidence pre- sented at trial, law enforce- ment identified Nesbitt and England Alexander Wil- son as suspects in several commercial armed robberies in the Tampa Bay area.

On May 20, 2014, Nesbitt and Wilson robbed a Little Caesar’s Pizza in Tampa. After tracking the men’s move- ments, investigators recovered items used in the robbery, in- cluding clothing, gloves, and the firearm.
Investigators discovered that the DNA of both Nesbitt and Wilson was found on gloves used in the robbery.
St. Petersburg Police report that for the second time in three days, a man is facing charges in the brutal beating of an 11-month-old child.
Eric Joseph-Kareem Williams, 19, was arrested Monday night on charges of aggravated child abuse and vi- olation of probation for carry- ing a concealed firearm.
The toddler, Williams’ son, was taken to a local hospital Sunday afternoon after a rela- tive found him unresponsive.
Doctors found severe brain trauma to the child that re- quired emergency surgery. He also reportedly had severe burns on his body and bruising on his chest and face, police said.
Williams reportedly told police he was the only one car- ing for the child when he was

injured, but the boy was hurt during an accidental fall. How- ever, doctors said the injuries were the result of child abuse, police said.
Williams is being held without bond and the child is reported to be in critical/seri- ous condition.
Deputies Investigating Dog Bite Find Drug House

On July 12th at 12:55 p. m., Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 1105 Teakwood Avenue to investi- gate a report of a dog biting someone and the victim being in need of medical attention.
When deputies arrived, they found Allene Canterbury, 63, sitting in a chair on the front porch of the residence. She had suffered several cuts and bite marks from a 1-1/2- year-old pit bull that had es- caped from the house. EMS responded and transported Canterbury to an area hospi- tal for treatment.
Patrol units detected the odor of marijuana coming
from inside the residence that housed the dog. Although the residents were cooperative during the dog bite investiga- tion, they were non-compliant after being asked for consent to search the house due to the odor.
Deputies got a search war- rant and found 314.7 grams of marijuana, 46.6 grams of mushrooms, 20 grams of am- phetamines, and a small mar- ijuana plant growing in the backyard of the residence. The majority of the drugs were found in a small safe in one of the bedrooms.
