Gun Toddler Fired And Killed His Mom With Was From Her Friend's Security Job
Patrice Price was fatally shot by her 2-year-old.
MILWAUKEE, WI -- A tod- dler who fatally shot his mother on a Milwaukee highway last Tuesday found the gun after it was left in car the woman bor- rowed from a security guard, police said Wednesday.
Patrice Price, 26, was driv- ing the borrowed car when a .40-caliber handgun used for her friend's armed security job slid into the back seat, where her 2-year-old son found and fired through the seat, the Mil- waukee County Sheriff's Office said.
Price was a mother of three children. She borrowed the car from the friend because some- one had stolen her car, family said.
The gun belt owned by Price's friend was found on the floor of the front passenger seat. The child was not in a car seat, the sheriff's office said.
A sheriff's spokesperson could not say whether the gun was registered to the friend or a se- curity company, but said he had the weapon for use with the man's security job. The investi- gation is continuing.
After the shooting on south- bound Wisconsin Highway 175, bystanders pushed the vehicle out of traffic, the sheriff's office said. Deputies performed CPR but Price, who was shot in the back, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Price's mother and a 1-year- old child were in the front seat when the shooting occurred, the sheriff's office said. Family members told WTMJ Price was driving her mother to an ap- pointment when she was shot.
"I want them to remember her beautiful smile, her kind heart and her gracious heart," Price's father, Andre Price Sr., said.

Tavis Sellers can be seen boxing his son.
Twins Deprice and Sha- price Hunt have probably set a world record with the num- ber of college acceptances and scholarship money they’ve re- ceived. The Chicago natives got accepted into a total of 56 col- leges combined, and have earned a total of about $1.3 million in scholarship money, according to The Huffington Post.
Shaprice has been accepted into 35 colleges, and offered a full-scholarship from two of them. She also has received of- fers to play basketball for five schools. The high school senior said she has her eyes set out on attending Illinois State Univer- sity or Eastern Illinois Univer- sity—and wants to double major in Education and Psy- chology.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Tavis Sell- ers, a father who posted a video of himself boxing with his 17-year-old son, is now facing domestic assault and battery charges. Even worse, according to Fox 5, the teen has been taken away from his father’s house by social workers while the investigation is underway.
Sellers told reporters that he was disciplining his son for skipping class at school, while also teaching him how to de- fend himself. In the video, the two can clearly be seen in what some are calling a very violent boxing match. Sellers is seen throwing punches at his son while simultaneously scolding his son about his behavior.
He tells the camera, “He can walk out of class, but call me, so I’m on your side. All day went by, he didn’t call. So now it’s discipline time because he did- n’tdowhatItoldhimtodo. He chooses to do what he wants to do.”
After the boxing match ends, the video shows Sellers’ son wiping blood from his nose and lips. Sellers’ voice can be
heard saying, “Let them know! Tell your teacher you’re sorry.” Sellers admit that he busted his son’s lip and gave him a bloody nose, but says that his injuries weren’t long-lasting. He also told reporters that his family is a “boxing family,” and it is “no one’s place to judge how he takes care of his busi-
ness in his house.”
As a caption for the video,
Seller posted the following message:
“Blessings come in all forms and mines came in the form of a great young man to have as a son. I feel I would be the worst disappointment to him if I did- n’t do my best to deter him from choices in life that I have seen lead to destruction. The world now has given us plat- forms to reach out and show your efforts. A lot of people were hurt by this video. And that was not the purpose. I did it to show what has been work- ing for ME.”
He reportedly has already been released from jail on a $5,000 unsecured bond, and will soon face the charges in court.

PALESTINE, TX -- Torren- tial rains pounded East Texas Saturday and six people tragi- cally lost their lives, including a great-grandmother and four school age children.
The downpour forced resi- dents to wade through water up to their chins after rain swamped a cul-de-sac of homes during the night and forced some onto rooftops. In less than an hour, more than 7 inches of rain had accumu- lated at the city's water treat- ment plant, according to ABC News.
Palestine Police received re- ports that the family was miss- ing around 3:45 a.m. The bodies of two children were found in the front yard of a residence near their street. A continued search found the bodies of an adult female and two more children.
“She had all four kids trying to lift them up out the water. I don't know how she was doing it,” said Asberry’s son, Doniell Hudnall to NBC5.
Hudnall said that Asberry was the legal guardian of all four children.
