Kanye’s Laptop Is Stolen
Popular Commercial Actor, 36, Dies
Windell Middlebrooks was known as the Miller Beer guy.
Actor Windell Middle- brooks, who played the deliv- ery man in ads for Miller Beer and other high profile com- mercials, including one run- ning now for Geico insurance with singer Kenny Rogers, has died. He passed away sud- denly at his home in Los Ange- les on Monday.
Middlebrooks was found unconscious at home in the San Fernando Valley Monday morning and was transferred by ambulance to a hospital where he later died. He was 36 and so far, no cause of death has been announced.
Erica Mena Quits Love & Hip Hop NY
ERICA MENA
As she prepares to ex- change wedding vows with rapper-actor Shad Moss, Erica Mena has reportedly quit filming VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop New York.”
The drama she has had with her co-stars such as Chrissy Monroe, her ex- girlfriend, Cyn Santana and off-camera issues she’s had with newcomer, Jhonni Blaze prompted Mena to opt out of taping the reunion spe- cial.
“A lot of people cast this season were cast because of beef with her. Erica was pretty much sick of the deflect- ing and projecting off of other people’s negativity,” said the source. “She’s about to be somebody’s wife and she didn’t want to put herself in the type of space where that could happen...where she has to act negative.”
After filming her last scene earlier this year, the rest of the cast taped the reunion Tues- day while Mena instead flew to Florida with her son for his eighth birthday.
Kendrick Lamar Reveals New Album’s Name And Cover
So help ‘Ye God. Someone stole Kanye West’s laptop.
While in Paris, someone reportedly swiped his PC, which may be the reason why his new track “Awesome,” which is a tribute to Kim Kardashian, is floating around the web.
G.O.O.D Music rep Malik Yusef took to Twitter to say there is an investigation un- derway.
The culprit has even cre- ated a Twitter account, @kanyelaptop, mocking the fact that robbed Yeezy. On the account’s page, the user has threatened to leak a song

entitled “YZ 2.0.”
No statement has been re-
leased from Kanye’s camp but this may affect the release of his upcoming album, So Help Me God.
Kendrick Lamar’s
sophomore album has a cover and a name after all.
Shortly after midnight, the good kid made a rare ap- pearance on Instagram to un- veil the cover and the title, To Pimp A Butterfly. The album art shows shirtless black men posing happily with cash ga- lore in their hands and mouth in front of the White House while standing over a deceased judge.
The album title was seem- ingly inspired by one of K. Dot’s friends in Compton, as he attributed the quote in the caption of the post to a “lil’ homie.”
The left coast rep has al-

ready snagged two Grammys for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for the album’s first single “i” and woke up the world with “The
Blacker The Berry.”
To Pimp A Butterfly is
available for pre-order on iTunes and will drop on Mar. 23rd.
Mike Epps And Nia Long Nabbed For TV Remake Of ‘Uncle Buck’
Mike Epps and Nia Long will star, Will Packer will be the producer.
Snoop Dogg, Jhene Aiko Join Campaign Against Gun Industry
Mike Epps will star as the lead of the “Uncle Buck” comedy pilot on ABC, which is based on the classic John Hughes film starring John Candy, according to Dead- line.
Nia Long will also star in the comedy pilot as Buck’s brother Will’s strong and smart wife. The series, from producer Will Packer, will adapt characters and the story from the film.
Buck Russell (Epps) takes care of his brother Will’s kids in a very childish way while he learns how to be an adult. This is the second attempt at remaking the com- edy for TV. CBS tried it first in the 1990s.
But like the movie, the TV adaptation will be written by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley. The major differ- ence is switching the charac- ters to African Americans.
Hip Hop icon Snoop Dogg, R&B songstress Jhené Aiko, and rapper/singer Aloe Blacc have joined other celebrities for the #ImUnloading cam- paign.
The participating musi- cians, athletes, and tech en- trepreneurs are calling on the public to remove their 401K investments from the gun in- dustry.
Unload Your 401K teamed with No Guns Allowed to launch the cam- paign. Snoop has been working with the anti-vio- lence movement around the country. The Doggystyle album creator also released a song titled “No Guns Allowed” fea- turing Drake and Cori B.
SNOOP DOGG AND JHENE AIKO
“There is a straight line from gun industry invest- ment to gun industry profits to funding of the NRA,” states Jennifer Fiore, exec- utive director of Campaign to Unload. “Half the value of these companies comes from mutual funds and most of the ‘investors’ in these funds have no idea they are inad- vertently part of the problem. Now they can be part of the solution.”
Tami Roman And Shaunie O’Neal To Join Basketball Wives L.A.
“Basketball Wives: LA” may be getting two not-so- new cast members whenever it returns to VH1.
It’s been a while since “Basketball Wives: LA” aired. So long, in fact, that many wondered if it had quietly been canceled like the Miami edition of “Basketball Wives.”
Well, not only is “BBWLA” still a thing that’s in produc- tion, producers hoping to merge the casts to fill up a few vacancies on their show. Nei- ther Draya Michele nor Sundy Carter will be back for the next round, so VH1 needed to bolster the team a bit.
According to Reality Tea, both Tami Roman and fran- chise creator Shaunie O’Neal have been tapped to join the cast.
They won’t be central members of the cast, but they will appear in a supporting
TAMI ROMAN AND SHAUNIE O’NEAL
roles as friends. Tami has al- ready been spotted filming with series vets Malaysia Pargo and Jackie Christie. She’s also appeared alongside cast newbies Angel Brinks, Patrice Curry and Meghan James.
Shaunie hasn’t been seen filming yet, but we don’t ex- pect that she’ll be as visible as Tami since she’s also a pro- ducer for the show.
