A capacity crowd of 10,951
returned to Daytona Beach for
the contest on Saturday. Bethune-Cookman defen- sive back Sam Marc inter- cepted a Delmon Williams' pass and Adam Brown missed a game-tying 29-yard field goal attempt as time ex- pired on Hampton's final two
drives.
Bethune-Cookman now
turns its attention to Morgan State as the Wildcats will cele- brate Senior Appreciation Day on Saturday, Nov. 4, back at Municipal Stadium. Kickoff for that game is slated for 4 p.m.
 FAMU Wins Against Morgan State
The Florida A&M Rattlers (3-6, 2-4 MEAC) defeated the Morgan State (MSU) Bears (1- 7,1-4MEAC)34–31,ina back and forth battle at Hughes Stadium in Baltimore, MD on Saturday.
According to reports, the Rattlers started off a bit shaky after a kick return catching error led to a fumble recovery by the Bears.
After a failed 45-yard field goal attempt by the Bears, the Rattlers would respond with a 48-yard touchdown reception from redshirt sophomore quarterback, Ryan Stanley to redshirt freshman wide re-

TIGER WOODS
Superstar golfer Tiger Woods pleaded guilty to reck- less driving and agreed to enter a diversion program Friday, five months after he was found passed out in his Mercedes with prescription drugs and marijuana in his system.
Woods, 41, spoke only briefly during a hearing at a Palm Beach County court- house, answering questions from a judge about his plea agreement. Prosecutors dropped his driving under the influence charge, and the judge warned him to stay out of trou- ble.
Woods, 41, did not make any statement during the hear- ing or outside the courthouse.

ceiver, Chad Hunter. This would be the first game the Rattlers scored first since the Norfolk State game on Oct. 7.
It took the Rattlers slightly over seven minutes and nine plays to score the next touch- down. The final play of the drive, a 24-yard pass from Stanley to redshirt freshman tailback, Ricky Henrilus,
would give the Rattlers their second touchdown of the evening. Aly PAT put the Rat- tlers up 14-7 with the PAT.
In the second half, FAMU worked their way down the field again and was able to put Aly in place for a successful field goal, putting the Rattlers up 24-21; however, the lead would not last long as the Bears would respond with a 35-yard field goal.
The back and forth scoring would continue into the fourth quarter.
The Rattler offense manu- factured one last game-win- ning touchdown.
The Rattlers will celebrate their graduating seniors Sat- urday and take on the Howard University Bisons during their final home game of the 2017 season.
The bumpy early starts to the season for the 2017 NBA fi- nalists continued Sunday night, as the Warriors and Cav- aliers both suffered home losses.
Actually, “bumpy” is a kind characterization of the Cava- liers’ season start. Yes, it’s too soon to panic and the Cavaliers are not at full strength, but a 19-point loss at home to the Knicks, which dropped their record to 3-4, piles on the cause for concern in Cleveland.
The Warriors’ 115-107 loss to the Pistons, meanwhile, makes them 4-3 on the season, but their situation seems far less dire than their counter- parts in the East.
New York got 34 points from Tim Hardaway Jr. and 32 from Kristaps Porzingis, and solid performances from Enes Kanter (18 points on 6 of 8 shooting, 12 rebounds) and Courtney Lee (15 points, 10 rebounds), while the Cleve-

land box score was a virtual wasteland.
For the second straight night, Kevin Love (22 points) was the sole Cavalier to break the 20-point threshold, while LeBron James was held to 16.
The Cavs are traversing the first half of the season without Isaiah Thomas, who they ac- quired from Boston in the Kyrie Irving trade, and the lineup they’re putting forth may best be described as make-shift. It certainly doesn’t appear to be working.
