Migos Release New Single Featuring Nicki Minaj And Cardi B
Migos released their new single from their album Culture II featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
Just last week Quavo teased fans tweeting, “Wait til you see who executive pro- duced Culture 2,” sending the Internet into a frenzy guessing who it could possibly be and when the project would be coming.
Migos left no stone un- turned by releasing their first single off of Culture II, enlist- ing industry superstars Cardi B and Nicki Minaj for “Motor Sport.”
The Atlanta hip-hop trio— who earlier this year went to No. 1 with their viral anthem
“Bad and Boujee” — recruited two of the genre’s leading fe- male artists.
The single continues a banner year for all three artists. In addition to their “Bad and Boujee” success, Migos’ Culture debuted at No. 1 and the group’s mem- bers, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff, have collaborated with a litany of other major artists.
With “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi B dethroned Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” from the top of
the Hot 100 and went on to set the record for most weeks at No. 1 by an unaccompanied fe- male rapper.
For her part, Minaj guested on Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish” and scored a moderate hit with her Drake and Lil Wayne collaboration “No Frauds,” which peaked at No. 14.
The trio previewed the track Thursday night (Oct. 26) at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, officially releas- ing the song Friday (Oct. 27).
This year, Kendrick Lamar leads all rappers with five nominations, while artists like Eminem, Drake, Fu- ture, DJ Khaled, Post Mal- one and others are up for awards at the 2017 MTV EMA Awards.
Rappers Travis Scott and French Montana have been announced as headliners. The rappers will take to the stage at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London, England during the show.
Travis and French will join previously announced performers Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato, Camila Ca- bello, Kesha, The Killers, and Stormzy.
Rapper will.I.am, James Bay and David Guetta are among the presenters for the evening, which will be hosted by Rita Ora.
The 2017 MTV EMAS will air live in the U. S. on Sunday, November 12 beginning at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m.
Radio DJ Speaks Out Against R. Kelly
R. Kelly was in a 2-Year relationship with radio DJ Kitti Jones.
Shemar Moore Returns To CBS As Star Of Police Drama S.W.A.T. This Thursday At 10 P.M.
Executive producer Aaron Rahsaan Thomas, left, star, Shemar Moore and executive producer Shawn Ryan of the new TV series "S.W.A.T."
Another woman is speak- ing out against R. Kelly.
Radio DJ Kitti Jones says the singer abused, sexually as- saulted and starved her over the course of their two-year re- lationship.
Jones’ comments arrive nearly three months after a re- port accused the singer of holding multiple young women against their will in an abusive sex “cult.”
Jones told the Rolling Stone that before introducing herself to Kelly at an after- party in June 2011, she idol-
ized the singer from afar. She attended seven of his concerts and featured his music on her radio program. When their fateful meeting finally oc- curred, they hit it off, and Kelly invited her to his next tour stop.
Jones says she and Kelly began their relationship lead- ing her to quit her job in No- vember 2011 to live with the singer full-time in his Chicago apartment. Now that she was under Kelly’s roof, Jones claims he controlled every as- pect of her life, from her
wardrobe and bathroom schedule to communication with the outside world.
Jones alleges Kelly began physically abusing her ― she re- counted 10 separate instances of abuse in the first year of liv- ing together during their 2 year relationship. Jones says she left in 2013, and did not return.
Jones has since started a nonprofit organization called Stop Protecting Your Abuser, while Kelly continues to deny all claims, framing their rela- tionship as completely consen- sual.
Tasked with some of the toughest—and most danger- ous—assignments, LAPD S.W.A.T. Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson (She- mar Moore) and his team put their lives on the line to protect innocent civilians.
In the series premiere of S.W.A.T., which airs on Thurs- day, Nov. 2 at 10/9c on CBS and CBS All Access, we see what it takes to save the pub- lic, save each other, and save
the day.
For Hondo, it's not as sim-
ple as just enforcing the law. He serves in Los Angeles where he grew up, and has deep roots in a community that doesn't always trust the police. His loyalty will be stretched on two fronts, as he's just been tasked with running an elite and close-knit S.W.A.T. team—which can feel as much like a family as a tac- tical unit.
