    INDI
This week’s Spotlight feature is Indi, and we only wish we had captured her sooner. She knows it will take more than what the others are doing to be suc- cessful. Indi absolutely loves posing in front of the camera and understands the sacrifice and strength it takes to be successful. Congratulations to Indi as this week’s Spotlight feature.

Commissioner Gwen Myers Continues Fight For Transportation Tax
Commissioner Gwen Myers is urging Hillsborough County residents to continue to vote YES on the one percent transportation sales surtax.
There is currently no legal prohibition to voting on Hills- borough County’s transporta- tion surtax referendum, and voters may continue to cast their ballots.
The Hillsborough County Board of County Commission- ers has appealed the court order that would remove the referendum from the ballot and filed a notice suspending the order.
Taking this action prevents the order from going into ef- fect, which allows Hillsbor- ough County voters to continue to vote. Hillsborough County intends to take every possible legal action to ensure the citizens’ right to vote for or against this important issue.
Hillsborough County’s Op- position to Motion to Lift Au- tomatic Stay which was recently filed with the Court in advance of the Hearing sched- uled for October 27, 2022, at 2:30 pm.
