I am originally from the U. S. Virgin Islands, which is 40 miles east of Puerto Rico.”

COMMENTS: Melissa Allen has been awarded the Ida S. Baker award 3 times at Ran- dall Middle School as well as Teacher of the Year at Randall MS in 2014-15. She has served as the District All-County Chair, District Chairperson, and District Coordinator for the Florida Vocal Association. She is a Social and Emotional Learning Champion for HCPS as well as a trainer in HCPS for SEL. She lives in Lithia, Florida with her husband and two children.
