Former Buc Top Pick Arrested For Ninth Time Since 2010
Keith McCants was once a star at Alabama who went on to become the No. 4 overall pick in the NFL Draft, but life after football has not been kind to the former de- fensive lineman.
McCants was arrested early Monday morning for possession of crack cocaine. The arrest was his ninth in the Tampa area since 2010, and he was booked on a felony cocaine charge in addi- tion to a second offense of driving with a suspended or

revoked license.
McCants was most re-
cently arrested in January for driving with a suspended li-
cense, but he entered a not guilty plea and is awaiting a jury trial on July 10. Most of his other past charges are re- lated to drug arrests and war- rants, and he also served two days in jail in 2016 over a bat- tery charge.
McCants has spoken openly about his battle with drug addiction in the past, and he says money was the worst thing that ever hap- pened to him. The 50-year- old played for three different NFL teams over six seasons.

Austin Rivers Traded To Wizards For Marcin Gortat
AUSTIN RIVERS AND MARCIN GORTAT
The Washington Wizards were said to be shopping Marcin Gortat in trades, and it looks like they found a taker.
Gortat has been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers for Austin Rivers.
Rivers said last week that he was exercising his $12.65M player option with the Clippers. He averaged 15.1 points and four assists per game last season.
Gortat is in the final season of his contract and making just over $13.5M. The center aver- aged 8.4 points and 7.6 re- bounds while playing in every game last season for Washing- ton.
ing) and convinces him to re- turn to the court one more time.
The Boston Celtics All-Star was thrilled to work alongside, and play with and against, some of his hoops heroes. “Reggie Miller, Lisa Leslie, Shaq and C. Webb ... those four legends, they embody dif- ferent historical moments in the league,” Irving told The Undefeated. “They’ve evolved in the game ... now they analyze the game for a living.” And Nate Robinson, one of the best 6-foot-and-under NBA players to ever do it, is still lighting up the court. “I thought that would be great, for audi- ences to see their personalities. ... They really just spoke to me — it made sense.”
'Uncle Drew' opens this weekend in theaters.
Was Family Friend
Janoris Jenkins’ Home
The man who was found dead at the New Jersey home of Janoris Jenk- ins on Tuesday has been identi- fied as 25-year- old Roosevelt Rene, a family friend.
JANORIS JENKINS
Rene had reportedly been living at the Fair Lawn home.
No details about how he died have been released, though one report said authorities were in- vestigating whether there was strangulation or suffocation.
Jenkins, a defensive back for the New York Giants, is be- lieved to have been in his offsea- son home in Florida when the death occurred. The Giants are said to be monitoring the situa- tion.
Shayanna Jenkins, the former fiancee of Aaron Hernandez, announced last month that she was pregnant and expecting a baby girl.
The baby was reportedly born a little over a week ago, and some information has surfaced about who the father is.
Jenkins gave birth to a healthy baby girl on June 16 in Rhode Island. Sources say that
the father is Dino Guil- mette, an amateur boxer from Providence.
Hernandez committed suicide in his prison cell in April 2017, but there were still rumors that the former Patri- ots tight end may have had his sperm frozen before taking his own life. That was apparently not the case. He and Jenkins already have a daughter to- gether.
