Envisioning a Better Future with PACE
A better way to finance home improvements for energy efficiency and resiliency
The PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) program was launched in Florida 10 years ago and in Hillsborough County in 2017 to ensure that Floridians had access to affordable financing for energy efficiency and resiliency home improvements. Over 3,400 PACE projects have been completed in Hillsborough County, positively impacting communities and thousands of families, including Thomas and Donna.
With the help of PACE, this Ruskin family was able to finance a new HVAC system for their home. Several factors attracted them to PACE. “One of the things that we liked about Ygrene financing was the fact that it was
done through our property taxes and financed over extended period of time. As a financial advisor, Ygrene financing was the right choice for our family because it was financially responsible.”
“There are months that my electric bill is just the cost of the meter. It’s about $12, $13.”
- Brian M., Riverview, FL
“I felt comfortable because the contractor didn’t get paid until the job was done. And once the roof was repaired, I was so at ease because they did a wonderful job!”
– Sarah M., Thonotosassa, FL
“With extended terms and no big payment upfront, financing our new AC Unit through Ygrene was perfect for my budget and our family!”
– Ana B., Brandon, FL
“Our payment is $78 a month. It’s affordable.
It’s easy to do, and it’s consistent.”
– Thomas & Donna H., Rus
