Bucs Quarterback
Gerald McCoy Upset Over Lack Of Bucs In NFL Top 100
GERALD MCCOY
Gerald McCoy is not happy over the lack of Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the NFL Top 100 countdown.
NFL Network has been doing its annual top 100 player rankings, unveiling 10 new players per week in a count- down order. On Monday, they unveiled players Nos. 30-21. So far, not one Bucs player has been on the list, and that’s not sitting well with McCoy, who called it “laughable.”
Both McCoy and Mike Evans remain the Bucs’ best hope of landing a player on the list. It’s hard to imagine nei- ther player making the list, but it’s also hard to imagine both being in the top 30. Maybe they will be. But McCoy cer- tainly isn’t the first player to complain about the list.
Deshaun Watson Practicing Without Knee Brace
DESHAUN WATSON
Here’s something that will make Houston Texans fans smile.
Deshaun Watson was spotted practicing without a knee brace at Texans mini- camp on Tuesday.
Watson had been wear- ing the knee brace during OTAs.
The former Clemson quar- terback is returning from a torn ACL suffered in late Oc- tober. He was lighting up the league prior to his injury, hav- ing thrown for 19 touchdowns and rushed for two scores in seven games.
LaVar Ball Predicts Lakers Will Win Championship With LeBron
Jameis Winston
LeBron James is proba- bly about a month or so away from deciding where he will play basketball next season, but LaVar Ball insists he has known all along.
Since the Lakers drafted his son Lonzo, LaVar has been adamant that LeBron is going to sign with L.A. in the sum- mer of 2018. When asked if his prediction has changed, Ball said it is a guarantee and not a prediction.

Ball Struggles
LAVAR BALL
It is no secret that Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarter- back Jameis Winston struggled with his deep ball last season.
For us fans, it was frus- trating to watch because the main reason the team signed DeSean Jackson, was be- cause of his deep threat abil- ity.
The two weren’t off by a lot, but it was clearly not all there. Love him or hate him, we all know how hard Win- ston works day in and day out and that mindset hasn’t changed one bit as he heads into his fourth NFL season.
Winston was asked how this offseason is different from others and he had a very Jameis-like response.
“My work ethic is unpar- alleled when it comes to on and off the field. I do every- thing in this community and for this football team that I possibly can to get better,” Winston said. “Now, I can get better at that as well. Like I said, that’s just me. I’m try- ing to look to improve in everything that I do and if you think I need to get bet- ter, then I’ll get better.”
It seems as if every time
him to be the best player now, his narrative has to be, ‘Every- where he went, he won a championship.’ Because he can’t win five or six.”

Jury Says LA Rams Must Pay
JAMEIS WINSTON
Winston steps in front of a microphone, one of the first questions is about his deep ball and if he has worked on it. Jameis has improved in many different areas since he has entered the league and this offseason it seems as if the main focus, besides less fumbles, has been to im- prove in the deep game.
“Absolutely. After you take a good look at what I need to improve on the most, deep ball comes up every sin- gle year,” Winston said. “So, I’m definitely focusing on that and getting with my guys to see how we can make that possible.”
Reggie Bush $12.5M For Injury
Reggie Bush suffered a career-ending injury in 2015 when he slipped and fell on concrete.
The Los Angeles Rams must pay former NFL running back Reggie Bush $12.45 million in damages for a knee injury he suffered in St. Louis in 2015, a jury decided on Tuesday (June 12).
Bush, then playing for the San Francisco 49ers, ran out of bounds on a punt return in a game at the Edward Jones Dome on Nov. 1, 2015, and slipped on some concrete. He suffered a torn lateral menis- cus, which ended his season.
St. Louis jury ordered the
Rams to pay Bush $4.95 mil- lion in compensatory damages and $7.5 million in punitive damages.
Attorneys for the Rams said they plan to file a motion for a new trial. The team de- clined comment on the verdict.
Bush filed suit in 2016, al- leging that the Rams and the public stadium authorities al- lowed a “a dangerous condi- tion to exist at the Dome.” Bush’s suit called the area where he fell “a concrete ring of death.
Terrell Owens Shoots Down
Report About Why He Is Skipping
Hall of Fame Ceremony
Terrell Owens has faced plenty of criticism over his de- cision to skip the Hall of Fame induction ceremony next month, and the former wide receiver seems unhappy with some of the rumors that are swirling around about why he is choosing not to attend.
On Tuesday, Paul Do- mowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News said an executive from one of the organizations Owens played for told him T.O. has decided to skip the ceremony in part because none of his former teams were will- ing to host a party for him in Canton.
Not surprisingly, Owens says that is not the case.
One of the reasons it took Owens so long to get into the Hall of Fame despite his out- standing numbers is the per-

ception that he was a bad teammate. T.O. has gone to war with the media over those claims in the past, so it make sense that he’s not going to let it slide this time, either.
Owens has taken a very public stance against the Hall of Fame voting process, and that is likely the main reason he doesn’t want to attend his own induction ceremony. The decision has already led to some current Hall of Famers throwing shade at him.
