Family Surprises Supt. Davis For 75th Birthday
The family of Superintendent Charles Davis hosted a surprise 75th birthday celebration for him. The 2:30 p. m. event on Sunday, December 20th was at TPepin Hospitality Centre. More than 200 guests attended.
Supt. Davis said he was totally surprised by the gesture and jokingly said to those in attendance, “Let it be known, the College Hill COGIC members can keep a secret.” He thought he was going to a new restaurant. His actual birthday was December 22nd.

Supt. Davis received a commendation from Con- gresswoman Kathy Castor. Her assistant, Chloe Coney made the presentation.
Elder Hosea and Arnetha Patrick were among the guests.
Supt. Davis with his daughters: Charlette, Amber, Toni and Karin.
Guests checked in with hostess, Kim Washington.
Rev. Willie Dixon was one of the program participants.
School Board Member, Mrs. Doretha Edgecomb brought greetings.
Mother and daughter, Gloria and Shelia Randolph were among the guests.
