AIKENS
MRS. MABLE WILSON EDWARDS
Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Mable Wilson Ed- wards of Tampa, who passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016, will be held on Sat- urday, January 16 at 2 p. m. at Cathedral of Faith Church, 6304 N. 30th Street, Apostle James H. Howell, Sr., pastor, with Elder Henry Ammons, eulogist. The interment will be in Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mable Wilson Edwards was born in Tampa, on May 11, 1924 to the late Hattie Mae Warren and Clyde Wil- son, Sr.
She was preceded in death by: her spouse, Edward Luther Edwards; sisters, Irene Wilson, Juanita Ruby Lee Anderson and Lillie Mae Williams; brothers, Donald and Clyde Wilson, Jr.; and granddaughter, Teresina Denise Edwards.
Mable lived a full and pro- ductive life filled with love and joy, surrounded by her family and friends who loved her dearly.
Mable was clothed with strength and dignity, laughed without fear of the future, and spoke words of wisdom. She carefully and lovingly watched over her household and made it a home. She suf- fered nothing from laziness and worked hard. She lived a life of integrity, character and high standards.
Mable leaves behind a legacy of love, a banner of strength, a badge of honor and a shield of respect for her family to uphold. Her child- ren and children’s children stand, salute and bless her.
She leaves to cherish and honor her memories: sister, Ruth Aniah; sons, E. L. Ed- wards, Jr. and Willie Hick- son, Jr.; daughters, Phyllis Rose and Sylvia Ann Ed- wards; granddaughters, Veda Valencia and Yani La- Toya Edwards and Tiesha Rashon Peal; grandsons, Adam Maurice and Jason Herbert Nixon, Dwayne Jo- maal and DeAundrea Peal, John Jacque and Jadiem Ed- wards; nieces, Nicole Brown, Faye Griggs, Cheryl Ander- son, Twanda Grant, Phyllis Cooper, Lavern Woodard, Jackie Wilson, Rosemarie Negron and Jacqueline Wil- son; nephews, Howard Wil- son, Michael, Earnest and Anthony Anderson, Robert Lee and Leroy Vann, Elder Henry Ammons, Marvin Davis, and Derrick and Michael Wilson; a host of other great and great grand- children; and other relatives
and friends.
The visitation will be held
at the church one hour prior to service. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MR. JOSEPH BELL, JR. ‘BABY JOE’
Homegoing services for Mr. Joseph Bell, Jr., who passed away on January 9, 2016, will be held on Satur- day, January 16 at 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Minis- ter Joseph Bunts, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bell, an only child, was preceded in death by: his father, Joseph Bell, Sr.; and mother, Flossie Hunter Bell.
Mr. Bell leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 64 years, Bettie L. Bell. To this union are: his children, Joseph Bell, III, (Kate), Jackie Bell Dennis (Pastor Vic), Beverly Bell Sykes (Kelly), Elder Ronald Bell (Brenda), Kenneth Bell (Bonnie), and Darrell Bell. He had 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grand- children.
Mr. Bell was born May 15, 1934 in Tampa. He was a member of and attended Greater Mt. Carmel A. M. E. Church from childhood into becoming a man, having knowledge of Jesus Christ. His failing health prevented his attendance for several years.
Mr. Bell was employed by Cargill Chemical Company for more than 33 years of labor to support his family. He was well-known by family and friends as “Baby Joe”.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 5-8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p. m.
The friends are asked to assemble at Aikens Funeral Home on Saturday at 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MR. GREGORY HARDEN
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Gregory Dennard Harden of Tampa, who passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, will be held on Saturday, January 16 at 11 a. m. at First Baptist of Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th, Rev. Dr. S. Evan Burrows, Sr., pastor, offici- ating.
Gregory Dennard Harden was born on July 9, 1967 in Tampa. He was the fourth child of his loving parents, the late Mr. Leroy and Mrs. Annie Harden.
Gregory was educated in the public schools of Tampa, completing his education at C. Leon King High School.
During his early child- hood, Gregory always had a basketball in his hand and was known around town as “Redman”.
Gregory started his career with the City of Tampa in 1984 at the Parks Depart- ment, he moved on to the Water Department where he retired from in 2008.
Gregory was united in holy matrimony on August 5, 1995 to Barbara Lewis Harden. Gregory’s first love for music propelled him into a dee-jaying career, where he touched many lives. Gregory starting dee-jaying at house parties, but garnered his leg- endary status at the start of Heavy’s Old School Fridays at the Comfort Inn, where he earned his title as Tampa’s first dancing DJ, in 2005.
Gregory started his Ma- sonic journey in 2009 with Pride of West Tampa #1. During his time in the frater- nal order, he touched many lives and was a worthy brother. Everyone who knew him would comment on how he always inspired them to
be a better husband, father, friend and son.
In 2014, Gregory was bap- tized and became a loyal and faithful member of First Baptist Church of College Hill.
Gregory was preceded in death by: his parents, Leroy and Annie Harden; maternal grandparents James and Annie Will Simmons; frater- nal grandparents, Robert and Annie Pearl Harden; nephew Algernon Belin; and son, Jonathan Chaney.
He leaves the following to cherish the memories of his spirit: loving and devoted wife, Barbara Ann Harden; children, Shomeria Clouden, Wallace (Evelyn) Nelson, LaRhonda Chaney, Marcel Harden, Clevant (Kenetra) Davis, Gre’Yana Harden, Gregory Harden, Jr., Floy- nard Clark, Jemar Harden, Demar Harden and Salecia Harden; mother, Ruth Harden; brothers, Leroy, Jr., Jesse and Anthony Harden; sisters, Gloria (Solomon) Harden Bryant, Regina (Jacqueline) Harden, Latasha Harden, Samantha (Gene) Burgess, Lolita Mathis, Carla Mosley, Patri- cia (Daniel) Mosley, Subrina Lewis and Tracy (Greg) Williams; uncles, Clenard (Carloyn), Bobby (Emma), and Leon Simmons; aunts, Ernestine Spivey and Linda Simmons; grandchildren, Joseph Simmons, Jr., De- shawn and Rodney Washing- ton, Jr., Marcel, Jr. and Marcellis Harden, Saniah and Johnnea Davis, Kerry, Jr., Keontae and Likayla Hopson and Marcela Harden; like sons, John Joseph and Ricardo Clouden; special friend, Dwyane Pittman; along with a multitude of mourning ex- tended family members and friends, including Pride of West Tampa #1 and the In- ternational Free and Ac- cepted Modern Masons & Order of the Eastern Star.

MR. GRADY MCGILL, JR. ‘SONNY’
Homegoing services for Mr. Grady McGill, Jr. “Sonny” of Tampa, who passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016, will be held on Saturday, January 16 at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. Dr. S. Evan Bur- rows, pastor, officiating, with Rev. Christopher Jarne- gan, eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Grady McGill, Jr. was born September 29, 1944 in Ala- paha, Georgia to the late Grady McGill, Sr. and Lu- bertha Reeves McGill.
Grady was a member of First Baptist Church of Col- lege Hill. He enjoyed fishing and cooking a good meal for family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, brothers, William Tobin, Jerome and Leo McGill and Alfred Ruff; and sister, Dorothy Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and de- voted wife of 38 years, Bar- bara McGill; children, Cheroida Harris, Reginald McGill (Shiril), Yvette Brooks (Leslie), Yolanda Davis and Bonita Davis-Col- son (Alfred); grandchildren, Amard and Cedric Harris, Odell and Tatyana Mitchell, Jordan Meeks, Dasean Brooks, Cleveland Swain III, Da’Mone Colson, Dasha Christopher and Elecia Roberts; great grandchil- dren, Adrianna and Armone Harris and Jair Balark; great-great grandchild, Amiere Williams; brothers, Quincy McGill and Nathaniel Reeves (Annette); sisters, Doretha McGill-Bull, Wanda Tolbert (Arthur), and Gloria McGill; godchildren, Nickie Chappell and Detrick Walker; special friends, Moes Alvalavo, Leonard Limehouse, and Willie and Marlene Sharp; and a host of other relatives and friends.
