‘Walking Dead’ Star To Play Tupac’s Mom In Biopic
Danai Gurira (Michonne on The Walking Dead, aka the best friend to have in a zombie Apocalypse situation) has signed on for the role of Tupac Shakur’s mom, Afeni Shakur.
'Ride Along 2,' With Ice Cube, Kevin Hart And St. Pete's Native Will Packer Return To Theaters Friday
Ride Along 2 is a funny ac- tion movie that lives up to the pleasures of its predecessor.
Ride Along 2 comes cour- tesy of Universal/Comcast Corp., which distributed the original Ride Along to a $134 million domestic total opening on this very weekend back in 2014. The original action com- edy came pretty sequel-ready, to the point where a follow-up was a foregone conclusion. Like the last one, this is pro- duced by St. Pete's native Will Packer who has produced hit after hit. His latest, "Straight Outta Compton.:

lion Fri-Mon debut off a $25 million budget. This one again comes courtesy of director Tim Story.
Actually, this is his third franchise, along with Think Like a Man and Barbershop, which has a third installment
coming later this year (The Best Man’s Malcolm D. Lee is directing). So with a budget of $40 million this time out and Ice Cube coming off of Straight Outta Compton, this movie might take the No. 1 spot from, "Star Wars".
Tupac Shakur’s biopic, All Eyez On Me, is in production in Atlanta and Danai Gurira has recently been cast to por- tray the legendary lyricist’s mother, Afeni Shakur. Gurira is set to join Demetrius Shipp, Jr., who has been chosen to play 2Pac. The biopic is being directed by Benny Boom.
On the small screen, Danai who stars in The Walking Dead has received demonstra-
tive praise for bringing to life, Michonne. The acclaimed actress will now be challenged to convey that same fervor in her début feature film.
Afeni Shakur possesses the entrenched complexity of a Black Panther, political ac- tivist, and mother. In addition, Ms. Shakur is also an execu- tive producer on this project. This may serve to help Gurira absorb some of Afenia’s char- acteristics.
Another Rapper Says 14-Year-Old

Rumors began circulating Tuesday (January 12) that Cal- ifornia rapper Bobo Norco was once in contact with Molly O’Malia – the 14-year- old singer that accused Tyga of making her uncomfortable by sending messages and ask- ing to FaceTime. Tyga claimed he only contacted O’Malia to discuss working together on music, and Norco says he had a similar experi- ence with the young girl.
According to Norco, O’Malia reached out to him about possibly collaborating. But in alleged Instagram mes- sages between the two, O’Malia also told him she
