Police Arrest Known Drug Dealer
St. Petersburg Police detec- tives began an investigation with narcotics tips and com- plaints of drug activity at 1010 Crescent Lake Drive.
Undercover detectives began making drug buys at that location, but the main suspect, Antonio Ford, 32, kept moving to different loca- tions around the neighbor- hood.
Detectives continued to in- vestigate as Ford moved through at least three motels or residences finally moving to 647 5th Avenue, North, for the last couple of months.
Once again, undercover de- tectives made drug purchases from that residence and ob- tained probable cause for a search warrant.
A SWAT Team was used to execute the warrant because the front door of the residence was fortified with burglar bars and locked with a chain and pad lock as well as a U style bi- cycle lock.

Two others suspected in helping run the drug enter- prise, Patrick Green, 47, and Devonsha Tyson, Jr., 19, were arrested and charged the same as Ford.
A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant and a new charge of providing a false name to law enforcement. She was positively identified as Kristen Beal, 36.
Authorities seized crack co- caine, hydromorphone, di- azepam and more than $1,000 in cash.
The SWAT Team used their ARV to pull the steel door form the front of the resi- dence. As the SWAT Team made entry, detectives said people inside the house put drugs into a lock box and poured acid into the box in an effort to destroy the evidence. There were a total of 14 people inside the two bedroom resi- dence when the warrant was executed.
Everyone inside was ques- tioned, and four people were arrested.
Ford was arrested and charged with operating a drug house, possession of cocaine,
