Emanuel P. Johnson Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Mr. Emanuel P. John- son was overwhelmed with gratitude for the ribbon-cut- ting ceremony and for the many guests that showed up to participate in the cere- mony on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
He spoke words of wis- dom and it was received by hand claps and smiles. The center and gym walk- through had the guests in awe.
Refreshments were pro- vided by Brocatos and fea- tured devil crabs, stuffed potatoes and Cuban sand- wiches.
Mr. Johnson thanks all who came out to witness this grand occasion in his honor. He will always be remem- bered by his final words at the end of a conversation... not goodbye but Pleasant Words (Proverbs 16:24).
Chess For All Ages
Come learn or just play the ancient game (chess) with Coach Ted McNair and others at the Riverview Library on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from10a.m.–12p.m.and on the 2nd Monday of every month from 5-6:30 p. m.

The SoulKafe
The SoulKafe was crowded and full to capacity with people enjoying the wholesome and uplifting ex- perience that included mimes, comedy, gospel hip hop, testimonies, fellowship and food on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
It was a tremendous suc- cess and people who at- tended are still raving about the great time they had.
SoulKafe will be open on the 4th weekend of every month.
On Friday, April 29, 2016 come out and enjoy the Christian Youth Turn-up (CYT) from 7-10 p. m. This venue will give the teenagers a chance to showcase their talents and gifts. To sign up for this event, visit soulkafe813@gmail.com. There will also be a Dance- off for prizes that will in- clude: 1st price $100, 2nd prize $50 and 3rd prize $25.
On Saturday, April 30, 2016 come out and enjoy the ”Soul Ignite” (for adults) from 7-10 p. m.
