Request for Proposals
Disposition of Vacant City-Owned Properties
The City of Tampa ("City") gives notice pursuant to Part III, Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, of the request for submission of proposals for the sale of vacant City-Owned Properties.
The properties are located at 2614 E. 10th Avenue, 2712 E. 10th Avenue and 2609 E. 12th Avenue. Each property will be sold separately and is being sold on an “As Is” basis. The Proposer is required to make a firm offer for the Property, submit an earnest money deposit equaling 5% of the offered purchase price, and provide a completed and signed Land Sales Agreement and Project Proposal Form on the forms provided by the City. The earnest money deposit will only be processed if the City approves the proposal for the purchase of the Property. Upon acceptance of the Proposal by the City and approval of execution of the Land Sales Agreement by the Tampa City Council, the Proposer shall be required to pay the balance of the purchase price at closing as provided in the Land Sales Agreement.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit proposals that are consistent with applicable laws, ordinances and regulations governing the location.
All Proposers must submit the City of Tampa Project Proposal Form, earnest money deposit and a completed and signed Land Sales Agreement within 30 days of the date of publication of this advertisement or by May 11, 2016, 4:00p.m., whichever is later, to the City of Tampa Purchasing Department, 306 E. Jackson Street-2E, Tampa, Florida 33602. Mark the outside of the sealed envelope “RFP Disposition of Vacant City-Owned Property Located at: (Address of Property)”.
To obtain a City of Tampa Project Proposal Form, a Land Sales Agreement form and other information applicable to the Project, you may access the City website at http://www.tampagov.net/realestate. If a Proposer would like a Proposal package to be sent via U.S. mail, the Proposer should send an e-mail to Joel.Rinderle@tampagov.net or contact the Real Estate Division by calling (813) 274-8581.
In selecting a proposal, the City is not bound to make the award on the basis of the highest monetary offer. It is the City’s goal to strengthen the mission and stability of the res- idential community. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, either in whole or in part, with or without cause, waive any informality of any proposals, cancel this request for proposals, and to make the award in the best interest of the City, subject to City Council approval.

TAMPA HILLSBOROUGH EXPRESSWAY AUTHORITY REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) Miscellaneous Toll Operations Support Services

Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) in Tampa, Florida is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified Respondents interested in providing miscellaneous toll operations support services to THEA on an as-needed basis. The successful respondent(s) and their team(s) shall have proven experience in the planning, design, development, testing and operations of toll facilities with special emphasis on All-Electronic Toll (AET) collection to include all roadside, communications and back office functions. The successful respondent(s) and their team(s) will have professionals for the broad range of disciplines and expertise (i.e. architects, civil engineer, structural engineer, traffic engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, etc.) as may be needed for performing the services.
There is no pre-proposal conference for this RFQ. Interested firms will obtain a copy of the RFQ Instructions and Submittal Documents and submit a completed Response Package to THEA at 1104 East Twiggs Street, Suite 300, Tampa, Florida 33602. Response Packages are due by 2:00 p.m., May 05, 2016 at which time THEA will publicly open the responses.
Response Packages shall include: a Letter of Transmittal, Statement of Qualifications, and completion of the RFQ Documents and Forms. Firms failing to submit the required RFQ Documents and Forms may be deemed non-responsive to the RFQ. The Schedule of Events containing additional important deadlines for this RFQ is located in the RFQ Instructions and Submittal Documents at Section A, Paragraph 1.4.
The RFQ Instructions and Submittal Documents are available through the DemandStar System (www.demandstar.com) or through an email request to Man.Le@tampa-xway.com. RESPONDENTS WHO OBTAIN THE RFQ INSTRUCTIONS AND SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN CITED ABOVE ARE CAUTIONED THAT THE DOCUMENTS MAY BE INCOMPLETE.
