Two Men Sought For Armed Robbery
Men Sought For Theft Of Cigarettes

According to police, two black men entered the Circle K, 330 Apollo Beach Boule- vard carrying garbage cans.
The two men jumped over the counter and loaded the garbage cans with various cartons of cigarettes. The sus- pects fled in a gray Nissan Altima. The cigarettes were valued at $2,105.00.
The men are described as Black with thin builds.

Necklace Valued

Two men are being sought for an armed robbery that took place on December 21, 2018. It occurred at the Cell Xchange, 410 S. Ware Blvd.
According to police, the two men entered the shop- ping plaza and went to the 4th floor where the business was located. They were con- fronted by a witness and one of the suspects produced a silver, semi-automatic hand- gun and demanded to know where the stuff was. The wit- ness opened the safe and the suspects removed cell phones.

They placed them in a blue bag and fled. They were picked up outside by some- one driving an older model Impala or Malibu, police said.
The first suspect is 5’5”- 5’7,” and weighs about 235- 250 pounds. The second man was 5’11”-6’1,” and weighs between 165-185 pounds. He had a full beard.

Police are looking for a man who snatched an expen- sive necklace and fled the scene. The theft took place on December 27th.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, a Black man, about 6’4” tall with a medium build, walked into Safa’s Jewelry Store, 8492 W. Hillsborough Avenue.
He asked to see a Cuban- style necklace. When the clerk removed it from the showcase, the man snatched it and fled. The necklace is valued at $7,200.

Father Charged
In Death Of His
5-Year-Old Son
A 26-year-old Lakeland man has been charged with vehicular homicide. The charge is linked to the death of his 5-year-old son.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Austin Cabanas, of Lake- land, was involved in a traffic crash on December 23rd. As a result of the accident, his son, Ayden Cabanas, died.
Detectives determined that on December 23rd, police attempted to stop Cabanas, but he fled the scene, exceed- ing the speed limited travel- ing more than 33 miles per hour above the speed limit. The investigation also deter- mined that he ran a traffic light at U. S. Highway 17 and East Pomelo Street.

banas’ vehicle crashed into another vehicle. At the time of the accident, Cabanas was driving with two young children in the back seat who were not properly restrained, police said.
Cabanas was arrested last Wednesday and charged with vehicular homicide.
