New School Year Brings Back Memories Of Successful 2022
West University Charter High School celebrated the graduation of students as they prepare to progress to the next step. The school provides a school for at-risk students who need an alternative to standard high schools.

Dr. Lorenzo Carswell of Hillsborough Community College pro- vided an inspirational keynote address.
School Board Member Lynn Gray conferred the diplomas and en- couraged students to continue learning.
Dr. Cora Dunkley provided the invocation for the event.

East Tampa CAC Election Results
The East Tampa Community Advisory Committee held election for vacancies at its meeting on Sept. 13, 2022.
The election results for the six (6) open po- sitions on the East Tampa Community Advi- sory Committee are as follows:

Dr. Jeffery Alex James Johnson Noreen Copeland Miller
Atty. Clinton Paris
Both proposed amendments to the East Tampa Community Redevelopment Partner- ship by-laws were approved.
The amendments:
In order to secure voting rights, registered members of the East Tampa Community Re- vitalization Partnership (ETCRP) must attend a combination of at least six (6) ETCRP, CAC and/or subcommittee meetings within the same fiscal year to be qualified to vote.
Registered members of the ETCRP who have met all of the membership and voting re- quirements will receive voting card to cast their votes during meetings when applicable.
