        A Leap of Hope

        Amelia Thorne

        KEY SELLING POINTS
A poignant children’s/teenage adventure story that follows Hope on a journey as she makes good on a
terrible mistake, battling unfamiliar circumstances and dastardly villains to fulfil a promise with potentially
          deadly consequences.
The story includes familiar mythical characters and emotions are personified.

When immortal Hope makes a promise she has no business to make, she finds herself drawn into a dangerous
game with her cousin and arch enemy, Trouble. If she fails to take care of the two mortal children she has
pledged to protect, she will be thrown into the everlasting Void.

With her twin sister Despair and her great uncle Mordred (you might know him better as Death) lurking in the
wings, the task is made ever more challenging.

Can she triumph over Trouble? Or will she be forced to leave behind a world without Hope?

Hope learns much more from mere mortals than she bargained for in this funny, poignant middle grade
        adventure.

Amelia Thorne has lived in Belgium, Scotland, Wales, Chile and France but currently lives in a cosy terraced
house in London with her family. She has worked in financial publishing, at an auction house, as an app
developer and as a chef. She can feed 20 people from a nearly empty fridge and quite often does. She most
likes to chat, drink tea, dream and make up stories. Amelia is based in London.
