KEY SELLING POINTS
A crime thriller about historic abuse and its modern-day repercussions.
Two police officers must solve the mystery while dealing with their own personal issues.
Two minors, a boy and a girl, are victims of sexual abuse at a children’s home.
The boy escapes and grows to become a man on a mission: to hunt down and take out the abusers. But the girl
remains trapped.
Following the discovery of a first murder victim, Officers Brady and Jones are called upon to investigate. Their
team conduct interviews and discuss theories but make little headway until a second victim draws attention to
the children’s home.
Unfortunately, Brady is distracted by his wife’s mental illness and Jones by her love life. Things become even
more complicated when the two detectives realize they are falling in love. Meanwhile, Brady’s teenage daughter
has become involved in the drug scene, leading to revelations which allow detectives to track down a group of
people who had been children at the home. This group divulge some useful information, including the fact that
Jones’ childhood friend, who disappeared aged eleven, was known to them.
More murder victims and the suicide of a police officer create further challenges for the investigation. So
Jones finds relief in relaxing with her new boyfriend. But is he hiding a dark secret? And whatever happened to
the girl?
Gigi Johnston - In her teaching career, Gill (Gigi) Willows often co-wrote alongside her pupils. Sometimes, the
learners themselves inspired Gill with their ability to problem-solve and to imagine beyond limits. Charlotte
Johnston was one such pupil. (In fact, Charlotte went on to study creative writing in the USA.) Many years later,
a chance meeting led to Gill and Charlotte combining their writing skills again. ‘Dig Two Graves’ is the result.
