PoND can be administered anytime, anywhere and provides results to a patient in under 10 minutes.
PoND (Point of Need Detection) is a consumer-facing version of NowAware that can be administered by a medical professional to receive instant results in under 10 minutes. Using our proprietary solution, the NowAware PoND test
is able to detect a sample as either positive or negative with a visible change in color.
1 A patient arrives at a location to have the NowAware test
performed.
2 Using proper distancing and PPE, the medical professional collects a tongue brush sample from the patient.
3 The medical professional places the sample into the collection tube, seals it, and shakes it to activate the test.
4 The detection compound within the collection tube will interact with the microbial bio-chemicals of the sample.
5 The medical professional is
able to witness a color change (positive sample), or lack of a color change (negative sample) in a matter of minutes to provide rapid results to the patient.
REaD will be a more scalable solution that can process millions of results
in minutes. Samples are sent to a lab where technicians use common off- the-shelf equipment to read results.
REaD (Rapid Enzyme activity Detection) a completely standalone deployable solution that uses off- the-shelf high throughput laboratory instruments with our proprietary substrate to detect the COVID-19 virus. An existing plate reader readily found in most labs will detect a fluorescence emission when our substrate reacts with a positive COVID-19 sample.
1 The REaD test starts with a tongue brush sample collection from the patient.
2 That sample is transported to a lab with technicians.
3 Lab technicians load the patient samples mixed with our SARS- CoV-2 testing substrate into a microplate, then place it into a high-throughput microplate reader for rapid result determination.
4 A fluorescence signal will indicate a positive sample,
whereas a negative sample will exhibit no fluorescence. The microplate process allows for 32 results to be read in 20 seconds.
5 The test results are then sent back to the patient and agencies collecting the data.
