                                                                            Bambu Global has its roots in Polaroid, where color-changing technology was the heart of innovation. As a team, we have over 200 cumulative years of experience in creating visual color-changing technology.
At the start of the year, we pivoted all our efforts into creating NowAware, a virus test structured around the same principles of chemical color-changing to combat COVID-19.
We created a unique testing platform unlike anything else on the market. We coined POND, Point of Need Detection, designed to provide everyone access to accurate, affordable, and easily administered testing. We currently offer three modalities of our test under REaD, or Rapid Enzyme activity Detection, which uses off-the-shelf lab equipment coupled with a single tongue brush sample to provide accurate, fast, and affordable test results. High throughout and fast result turnaround are at the core of the REaD tests, which suits them for use by healthcare providers in clinics, and at locations where the rapid processing of large crowds is required, like airports, schools, ports of entry, stadiums and more.
                                                   REaD is available in three modalities:
pREaD
Detects the presence of the virus in a human sample using a standalone plate reader.
mREaD
Detects the presence of the virus in a human sample using a UV light source and mobile device camera.
iREaD
Detects the presence of the virus in a human sample using a UV light source and the naked human eye.
              In addition, we are developing STAR, a mobile app that will interface with healthcare professionals and patients in order to streamline the test collection process and the delivery of test results. We hope this companion will empower the patient as a self-reporting mechanism.
                         NowAware is positioned to deliver higher degrees of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity than other tests in the market.
Our technology and significant scientific achievements have caught the interest of several media outlets such us The Boston Globe, The Boston Business Journal, The Rich Zeoli Show, and WCVB-TV. As we continue our outreach efforts, we expect to generate additional awareness on NowAware’s potential to put a stop to this pandemic
