                     REaD Edge
                                    Us vs. Them
  Why
REaD consistently indicates the presence of COVID-19 specific enzymes in infected cells before the viral load is sufficient for PCR detection whether or not a patient ever becomes symptomatic.
Because these enzymes are conserved within the MERS and SARS classes, this test can detect future generations of COVID-19 that PCR methodology may not.
REaD relies on a patented technology of testing for the existence of the virus that has low rate of false negatives.
PCR tests take a molecular biology approach that has limitations which cause a high rate of false negative results.
REaD can detect the COVID-19 enzyme days before there is enough detectable virus by RT-PCR, due to the ratio of enzymes in the host cells that are infected with the COVID -19 virus within our tongue sample approach.
RT-PCR is designed to identify only a known sequence in the virus, and there are a host of factors that can drive RT-PCR tests to have larger number of false negatives.

Since the validation of our test, we are finding several instances where RT-PCR confirmed negative samples have shown strong fluorescence signal
with REaD. Given that all REaD negative samples having resulted in low signals, we believe REaD is detecting rapid enzyme activity that can only come from infected cells in the tongue sample.
